Hi!

We have stayed on-site and off-site. We are currently booked in a Poly villa, but I’m wondering about possibilities outside The World.

Our off-site stay was at a house in Windsor Hills (I believe!) and it was very nice - huge, private pool, clean, quiet, all that good stuff.

On the flip side, we had to DRIVE to the big pool with the slide and of course driving or taking a cab to the parks was a pain sometimes.

So I’m wondering about an in-between choice. Something that is more like a hotel in size (pool right there) but bigger accommodations. Something that is still fairly luxurious (better than a Disney Deluxe which I don’t actually consider “luxurious) would be nice, and close enough to the parks that a taxi will be convenient.

I’ve looked a little bit at Waldorf Astoria (the pool didn’t seem to have a slide but I hear it actually shares with another resort?) and the Omni, and one of the Hyatts, but it’s impossible to choose!

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Wyndham Bonnet Creek is what you are looking for. The resort is next door to the Waldolf. Check out the we loooooooove bonnet creek thread for tips and info.

Waldorf Astoria would be a good choice especially if you are looking for luxury, it is attached to the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort which has the huge pool with a lazy river (and slide) that you are looking for, both hotels share the pools, restaurants, transportation to WDW parks, and other amenities.. Here is the link to their website:

We stayed at Waldorf in December, pool is shared with Hilton but not really shared, there are two separate pools but you can access both. The bathroom was great with a walk in shower and tub, other than that I would prefer a resort with more lush pool area...any suggestions?

The Four Seasons is where you want to be. They have a mini water park on property. They're outfitted with a lazy river, splash pad, family pool, 2 awesome water slides and an adult only pool. They also have a kids club area free of charge so you can enjoy the adults only pool.

They also have their own bus transportation to take you to Disney parks. We had to use Uber to go to Disney Springs, not a big deal.

We have stayed at GF, BC and AK and neither of them are nowhere near as luxurious as The Four Seasons.
