2bdr question

I just received my confirm for our SSR & BCV split vacation next Oct. I requested a 2bdr lock-off because my parents want the hallway door and the extra privacy. The confirm does not say lock-off, should it?

All requests are not always showing on the printed confirmation that comes in the mail. It may very well be listed in their computer, however. You may want to call and confirm that.

Keep in mind that a request for a lock off is simply that, a request and not a guarantee. Booking a one bedroom and studio separately would guarantee that, however it will run you more points to do so, and they may not be next door to each other.

Members booking on points are able to specifically book a lock-off or a dedicated 2-BR and that is what you will have when you arrive. I would verify that you have a 2-BR lock-off booked and not just "noted" as a request on the reservation. If it is just noted as a request (i.e. like other requests--pool view, etc.) it will not be guarenteed. Any 2-BR ressie we have says lock-off or dedicated as the vacation home type.

If you are a member booking on cash, you are not able to specify dedicated or lock-off, but get whatever is available at the time.

Confirmations usually say dedicated if that's what you got, so if it doesn't you're probably OK. I'd call or email MS to be certain though.

I have a two bedroom dedicated for May. My ressie just says two bedroom. I called to re- check and they said it is a dedicated two bedroom. So if it doesn't say on my ressie that it is, should I call and request that they send me one that states "dedicated"? I don't want to get there and they try and pull something as we are traveling with our children and need the two bedroom dedicated.

On my last confirmation from our trip in October the Confirmation said "Two Bedroom Dedicated/2Q" which stood for the 2 bedroom dedicated with 2 queens at BCV. The last two confirmations I have received simply stated "Two Bedroom". I have called and spoke with 2 different people and have been told both times that I have a 2 Bedroom Dedicated with 2 queens booked and it will be gaurenteed. I asked why the last confirmation said "Two Bedroom Dedicated/2Q" and this ones says "Two Bedroom" and the person told me that it depends on what the MS person typed in, I then told her it wasn't in the requests area of the confirmation it was in the Vacation Home Type area, which I assumed would be a programmed field and they told me no!

I think I might just send an E-mail asking this question so that I have written confirmation that I can take with me.
