I turn 29 next week! I'd like to do something for my birthday with some friends, but with everyone having tight budgets, I'm not sure what to do. I'm looking for things that are cheap and fun! If we go somewhere, everyone will pay their own way (that's how it always is with our group of pals). Some of my ideas:
Go see UP! at our local theater ($5 a person), then come back to our house for "Decorate your own cupcakes," which I will make. (I'm making cupcakes for an event on Friday next week, so making an extra batch is easy!)
A Harry Potter movie marathon at our house, again with cupcakes. This could be several hours, though, so we probably should feed people. What is easy and cheap to feed folks? Probably between 5-10 people. I don't really want to cook...it is my birthday! Any other DVDs out recently that are good? (I could borrow a projector from my work and do a "big screen," too)
What other ideas do y'all have? Thanks!
