We went back and forth trying to choose between CBR and CSR for this trip. We were considering CSR for the suites, so we could have DS (8 mos) in a separate room.

Well, he was sleeping nice long 6 hour stretches at night for about 5 months so we figured we'd all be ok sharing one room (also DD 3.5) and booked CBR. Well for the past month and a half he's been waking at night, A LOT. Like every 2-3 hours - it is exhausting!

Now I am second guessing our decision and wondering if we should switch to the suite (if it's even available) so he doesn't wake our daughter up during the night!!!

He does sleep better when he is in bed with momma so I am considering renting a bedrail and just putting him in bed with me. But I am a little scared if I do that for an entire week, he'll be totally in that habit when we get home.........and while I don't mind it sometimes, he is QUITE a cuddler and I get NO room in the bed at all!!! He keeps scooting right up against me!

Any advice?

Do I need the bed rail? or could I just put the bed against the wall? Do they move?

1. you said he's 8 mo? Disney will put a pack-n-play in the room for you. They will call it a crib- make sure you ask before you go. (my daughter 15 mo will use one this trip- the same as her first trip at 3 mo. and her 2nd 11 mo)- they put sheets on them but I take a couple of crib sheets from home, they're a little big on the pak-n-play's but they smell like home and I if theres and accident you have another on hand.
2. if you are at CBR you may need to request a frdge for the room (they're free- the crib too) CSR rooms all have fridges.
3. they don't ACTUALLY book your room til 5 days before your res. so as long as there is room at the hotel you want- change as often as your little heart desires.

...t.

If you decide to go the bed rail route, you do not need to rent one. They provide them at the resorts. Just ask at the front desk. We recently stayed at POFQ and the beds were on platforms that did not move at all.
