I put on here and aulani forum as this seems more popular?

Do you think I stand a chance renting at seven months for this time of year?
Or need to do now?

You didn't say what year, but I doubt if a month would matter for this year, 2016 between the 8th month mark now and 7 month mark in March. I expect you are already too late if you want a standard view. Those rooms are usually booked by Aulani owners before now. Standard view is hard to get at the 7 month mark. The Hawaiian school fall break in 2016 is the week of October 9th, so you should have problems with local members doing staycations that week. I think an Aulani owner would have a good chance to book at the 7 month mark for Aulani. The only thing that would be a problem is a grand villa and standard view rooms.

At 7 months out for late Oct and early Nov 2015, Aulani was open except for the hotel rooms devoted to DVC and standard view.
