I really am not going to go into the plot as I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

Let me start by saying that it was a really good (not quite great) move. Definately tops int he "zombie" genre.

Before you see this movie you SHOULD have seen 28days later. IF you havn't seen it you'll be doing yourself a great injustice by not knowing some of the back story.

This movie is by far the most "True to life" way that "Zombies" could occure and exactly what the government would do about it.

The style of the movie is fantastic the shakey quick camera really gives you the "rush" of the action as the Zombies are attacking.

It's not a mindless zombie flick though it definately hase some real moments that make you go.."My god ,what would I do if that was me and it was happening for real"

My last comment without spoiling anything is the Helicopter scene is one of the coolest scenes I have seen in a "zombie" movie ever!

It sounds awesome already(makes note to watch the dvd of 28 Days Later again)

I can't wait to see it.

Have you read "World War Z" by Max Brooks? Max Brooks is "that" Mel Brooks's ("Blazing Saddles" and "Spaceballs", among others) son - I'm not making it up. I swear! "WWZ" is a bunch of eyewitness interview and accounts of world-wide zombie plagues striking in the near future. It's way better than I had hoped it would be - I'm going to re-read it after seeing "28 Weeks Later".

Maxie-boy also wrote "The Zombie Survival Guide" - available in finer bookstores everywhere.:thumbsup2 I think he might have some interest in the topic of zombies.

I lent out my DVD copy of "28 Days Later" - hope he brings it back soon!

Thanks for the comments. I really enjoyed the first flick and I've been wondering about this sequel.

I'm curious as to where it's set. It looks like there are scenes in Washington DC?

I enjoyed the first one and look forward to seeing this one tomorrow!

Did anyone ever see the TV show "Alias?" They totally ripped off "28 Days Later."

28 Days Later is one of my favorite movies and I was hoping this one would be good too. I was happy when I found out that Danny Boyle (the Director of the first movie) was one of the executive producers of the sequel and actually directed some of it.

I'm really gonna miss Jim, Selena and Hannah though.

Both movies were filmed and set in England, mainly London.

I have not read that book yet...However it very soon is going to be made into a movie. I don't remember who optioned it, but it's being adapted right now.

Completely in London. (it's amazing how they were able to shut down london to film this move...you never see any accidental cars or anything in it. and there are tons of ariel shots)

You won't miss then at all. In fact after about 2 minutes I didn't even think of them again.

One of the Young Stars Imogen Poots is going to be a huge star in the next few years you can count on it. Her only other movie role was as young valerie in V for Vendetta. This is her first "Starring" role. Her emotions at times are extremely captivating.

World War Z:thumbsup2 Did I hear is was supposed to star Tommy Lee Jones? Or am I confusing it with something else?

Ooh I can't wait! We're going to see it tonight!!!

I loved 28 Days Later and have been looking forward to this one. Glad to see that you enjoyed it and it's a good sequel.

Can't wait to see it now!!!

I will pass. I just can't stomach zombie or things that jump out at you movies. *shivers* no thanks! I tried to watch the first 10 minutes of The Hills have Eyes...I couldn't get through the opening credits!:scared1:

I just got back from seeing it. I totally agree with the OP. And I thought the ending was fantastic!

28 Days Later was a gritty but superb movie - I can't wait to see the sequel! I'm a big fan of Danny Boyle's work - I believe he did Sunshine too, which rocked.
