27th dec - 11th jan - crowds

just read the thread about crowds and wondered how quickly the crowds dropped off after NYE and which park people suggest I should do 28, 29, 30 and 31st? We are 2 adults and 2 children!!

I've never been before 1/1 so I can't help you there. However, I can tell you that the crowds thin out RIGHT after the first (at least they did in 2000, 2001, and 2002). CMs I've talked to suggested that people tend to blow all their money NYE, then have to leave! But it can get very cold, and hats and gloves are expensive there, so bring clothes for all types of weather.

jojj is right--YUCK! crowds the 27th until New Year's...after that...ESPECIALLY more toward the end of your trip...NO CROWDS

We were there in January last year--I was stunned! I was at a conference, and so didn't make it to the parks until 3:30 p.m. I was so reluctant to "waste" my park ticket...thoought there would be crowds. NO! NO! The place was deserted. I mean no one was there. Loved it.

Unfortunately, I am in education so most of the time we do the World at the busiest times (although we sneak in the pre-Dec 19 from time-to-time ). The conference in January was a pure treat!

You will love the last week of your trip!!!!!!!
