Hello

This is my first post!

I am getting married (in UK) on the 7th September and flying out to WDW on the 9th for our honeymoon.

We are spending 10 days in the Port Orleans FQ, have the quick service DDP and magic your way tickets. Both my hubby to be and I have not been since we were children and we just cant wait. They only problem we have is that we are less than 4 weeks from leaving and due to wedding planning and longs days at work, we haven't been able to book or plan anything.

We want a mix of fun in the parks and relaxation. We both work stressful long hours, haven't had a holiday for 3 years and our wedding has been quite stressful to arrange... We don't want to be massively planned out and would like to take each day as it comes, but is this a bad idea?? I don't want a set itinerary but I'm worried that we miss out. I believe the ten days we are there are the quietist of the year so I'm hoping there wont be massive queues or stress. Are we being naïve?

Does anyone have any advice on the must dos?

So far I have booked a town car to pick us up from airport. That's it haha! We are planning on spending last night at House of Blues as H2B's favourite band are playing but haven't bought tickets (thought we would do this when we get to florida?).

Thanks a bunch!

Book your dining reservations! Other things you may want to book you can do through the hotel concierge but dining reservations book waaaaaaay early! My advice is go online see what menus you like and start booking ASAP!
Some of my favorite date night restaurants are California grill at the contemporary, le cellier in Epcot, Victoria and Albert's at the grand Floridian. Oh! And it's not romantic but I love the character breakfast with pooh at the crystal palace!
Best of luck!

Hi Danii!! I am also going on my Honeymoon to Disney World, but next summer - July 2014! I have been more times than I can count, so here are some of my recommendations!

1. Have you thought about taking the Magical Express from the airport to your resort? It is a free service that Disney offers, and they will even handle your luggage for you and deliver it straight to your hotel room.

2. Think about doing some resort-hopping to take a break from the parks! If you are at the Magic Kingdom and want to take a break for example, you can hop on the monorail and tour the lobbies of the Polynesian, Contemporary and Grand Floridian. The Kona Cafe at the Poly is a great option for a sit down lunch! Animal Kingom Lodge is also a great resort to visit as they have savanas all throughout the resort.

3. You are going to be there for 10 days, so take your time and relax!!! Don't be afraid to spend mornings or early afternoons at the pool and then head to the parks in the evening. I think honeymoons are all about taking it easy and doing what you feel like doing at that moment and enjoying time with your new husband!

4. Just a quick run-down of some of my favorite restaurants that I plan on potentially eating at on my honeymoon - mix of Signature dining and regular table service:
-Le Celleir Steakhouse
-California Grill
-Kona Cafe (breakfast here is awesome!)
-Citrico's
-The Hollywood Brown Derby
-Jiko
-La Hacienda de San Angel
-Coral Reef
-Yachtsman Steakhouse
-Les Chefs de France

5. The only thing I would say you should definitely book in advance are all of your dining reservations. Most of the restaurants will book up quickly, and if your plans change from what you reserved, you can always go to the conceirge at your resort and try to modify it. Disney makes it really easy - you can book all of your dining reservations online!

Good Luck!

If you are trying to get Stone Temple Pilots tickets, you need to act quickly, they WILL SELL OUT before you arrive in town! (Source: I am a ticket broker.) Go to livenation(dot)com and get your seats now!

I know you don't want to "plan", but I would check out easywdw's free crowd calendar to help you decide which parks on which days - it can make a huge difference in your experience.

If you have any questions about buying the tickets, or anything else, please feel free to PM me!
