It's a mistake to think that the decisions are deterministic. It might have as much to do with whether or not someone was late to a meeting when reviewing the waiver.

Just wanted to report that we passed ROFR on our BCV Sept UY points (150). I am currently on the waitlist with Disney for BCV points also for the same UY yet they passed us. We are of course very happy as we save $40 a point!

Why would you be selling BCV points if you're on a waitlist to buy the exact same points????

I think you have it a little backwards. We BOUGHT BCV points on the resale market (150 points) while waiting to buy points from Disney direct (on waitlist for about 170 points give or take). We were definitely not selling.

I'm doing the same thing. I've been on the Disney list for VGC for over 4 months, and have tried buying resales, only to be ROFR'd.

According to my Guide, my Disney points are coming in a week, maybe two. EXCEPT he told me that the night I was ROFR'd and he just happened to call to see how I was making out. And THAT was 5-6 weeks ago. Still no points.

I spoke with another Guide last week, playing dumb, since mine was on vacation, and asked how it looked on the wait list for me. He told me maybe another 6 months,

So I'm on the list, but I'm still looking for a resale contract with mu UY and the points somewhere in the ballpark of what I want.

I look at the bright side - at least I got on the list before they raised the price last week!

Did they raise the price again? What are they asking now? BCV is very pricy as well because the contract ends in 2042! That's not too far from now....

OMG! We bought GCV as founding members and if I recall it was $94 plus some incentives like free passes to DL... That seems like just yesterday -- I think about 3 years ago?????

Disney stepped in and bought the VGC we tried to buy. So disappointed!

Wow I wish we could get that deal direct! Man I'll have to check when we're on our cruise in a month but I suspect those deals are gone ...

$85, the one they bought on the 14th was for $74.

Wow either of those would have been a lovely contract. We passed at $82/point last November. Guess if we want more points it'll have to be direct. Ugh. They really need to build a DLH DVC for us West Coast Disney fans ...
