25th Wedding Anniversary

In a couple of years my wife and I will be celebrating 25 years of marriage and would like to do something special, perhaps renew our vows and visit Disney or incorporate all in one celebration. Little did we know as a young married couple that our first visit (before EPCOT was completed) that we'd ever get to come back but have many times over the years and look forward to the grandchildren years.

Any suggestions? I looked on the wedding link but that seemed to be mostly newly weds. We're not looking to blow retirement cash but would like something simple and magical beyond just a trip and a room.

Hi we looked at it once and renewal of vows was very expensive and had to have so many rooms. I think that if you call them they can set you up but weekends the cost goes up

Yea, we're not looking to book rooms for anyone. Hopefully others can join us but this will be just us.

Just did our 25th Ann trip. We booked the GF and the Platimun Plan. No vow renewal to much $$$. We had a Fantasmic trip! Anyway I booked a vow remewal for my parents on the Disney Cuise in 05. You can watch it on you tube if you like go to wdisnyw. Anyway I think it was about $1,200.00 We go flowers for her me my dad & bro Also the cake & she ordered DP Champagne. It was nice it was expensive worth it but not. But they were married 50 yrs. I was booked to do the same thing then opted to go to DW with out kids (FIRST TIME IN 25 YRS) and book the GF and do the Platimun plan. It was great . Money well spent.

We're celebrating our 25 years this October at WDW.

Having recently bought DVC, we will be spending some of our holiday (or should I say, vacation, - we're British!!) for our first trip to SSR. We have booked CG to watch Wishes one night and will spend our actual anniversary on board a 4 night Wonder cruise (with our own verandah) - our first on our own, without offspring - can't wait!!

I never thought about the possibility to renew our vows but think DH might think it was OTT!! Maybe wait for our 50th!!

Have also booked an Epcot Segway tour which we haven't done before - so lots of "firsts" that, hopefully will create many memories!

what is the platimum plan

PLATIMUN PLAN IS THE BEST! You get everything with it that you would love to do. To much to list but look it up. I did it cause it was a sepcial occasion our 25th Ann. We ate at all the nice resturants includeing V & A . Went on tours everywhere. Had a wishes cruise. Seen CDL.Sepcail seats at Fantasmic. So so much to do just never enough hours.
