Hello all-
Need some ideas and suggestions for our upcoming trip this August for 4 days to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. (This is part 1 of a 2 part Anniversary celebration- part 2 is next winter in an exotic locale:yay:) We are DVC Members who have visited WDW at least 15 times since 1995, mostly with our 3 kids, we did come one other time for a long weekend by ourselves 6 years ago and had a fantastic time. We are staying at BLT and I made dinner ps's at the following: California Grill, Jiko and Hollywood Brown Derby. We've eaten at Jiko 3 times but never at the other 2. Does anyone have any ideas for some fun ways to mark the anniversary? Segway tour or Keys to the Kingdom Tour or both? Fun t shirt ideas? need some input please!!:cheer2:

Last year DW and I did one day at VB, then a seven day cruise, and then five days at BWV. How about an evening out at either Jellyrolls or Atlantic Dance whichever suits or tastes? For fun do something on the water, like renting a boat or water skiing.

Congratulations on 25 years! We're going to WDW to celebrate our 25th in Nov. We're thinking of doing the Wild Africa Trek and if we can get in, Dine with an Imagineer.

I agree with the poster above, a cruise would be really memorable. There are different options to Disney cruising. If you decide to do a Disney cruise you can have a great romantic time. There are areas on the ship just for adults. Check out the Cruise thread.

Personally I would rather suggest dining at V&A rather than Brown Derby. It is a world of difference!

We hope to go for our first ever kid free trip later in the year and would love to do the Wild Africa Trek and Keys to the Kingdom as our special activities.

Congrats on your 25 Years!! :thumbsup2

We too will be celebrating our 25th this year and we are doing a 4 night cruise on the Disney Dream, then heading to the F&W Festival for 3 nights. :cool1:

I hope you have an awesome time!

Thanks for the great suggestions. We actually just did the Disney Dream 4 night cruise over Thanksgiving, as part of our "Kenebration" -- my husband Ken's 50th Birthday trip with all the kids and 2 other families. We started out at AKL for one night, followed by 4 nights at SSR in a Grand Villa, and then the Dream Thanksgiving Cruise. I would do it again in a heartbeat but I don't think the wallet can take it quite yet:rotfl:
We have eaten at V & A's and it was superb to say the least. I know Hollywood Brown Derby doesn't even compare but unfortunately the budget at this point won't cover V & A's. Who know what will happen tho? :goodvibes

Congrats on 25 years! We are celebrating 20 years in June, kid free trip and have booked the Wild Africa trek for one day, and dinner at yacht club followed by dancing at Atlantix dance hall, and Wishes! Dessert party.

How exciting just to have alone time! :-)
