If I get my free trip as an ESCORT ,I will hopefully go again in October !!My next trip for sure is August next year for the Girls 16th which is in August and of course we are hoping fort FD!!!

Nice upgrade! The 3rd or 4th floor would have given you a better view of the lake but still awesome to get an upgrade. Loved the big balcony A co-worker was there for their first visit as a family (05/03-05/08/10) and said it was so hot but it didn't bother them as much since it had been in the mid 80's at home before they left.

I have a question if you don't mind (or for anyone on here) helping me with: I am contemplating staying at the Beach Club for our family trip (11/28-12/3/10). We already have reserved a 2brm villa boardwalk view at BWV booked by renting points but had to cancel 2 studios due to car problems. So now we need at least one other room and BWV & BCV are all booked (we could get in at SSR or OKW but we are spoiled by staying at Epcot resorts). Since you have stayed at Beach Club on the non-villas side, would you recommend just reserving a standard room (like I was thinking of doing) and hope for an upgrade? Or reserve SSR or OKW and go on waitlist? My daughter, grandson and I would be staying in this room and want to be near my sons who would be staying at BWV.

Yeah we are planning for May next year & it will be an expensive one as we will be doing Discovery Cove, Universal, Sea World & Disney!! Hopefully some day I will make a PeepFest.

Yeah you would think with that many stays you would get an upgrade. I am sure the only reason was because it was our 25th anniv. Maybe the time of year also. Thanks for reading along!! Update coming tonight.

Welcome!! I thought the weather was great!! Being from chilly NH I was ready for some HOT days. I did use my little fan more than once though

As far as staying at BC I do not know anything about the villas but I think the rooms themselves are good size. 2 queen beds plus some rooms have a pull out sofa (ours did but we did not need it). If you want to be close to BWV I would consider it. Of course we usually stay at POFQ, one room & there are 4 of us (when the boys are with us). But the only time we are in the room is to sleep & shower so the size is not really a factor with us. Maybe someone else can chime in.....

Finally time for an update. It's been so long I forgot where I left off. Oh yeah I was jumping up & down with our view So we unpacked our carry ons which mine always contains lots of my clothes. Once we did that we took our 5 minute walk to....EPCOT. On our walk over I said to my DH "Isn't the best feeling knowing it is your very first day & we have the whole week ahead of us??" He agreed it is a great feeling So we used the "secret entrance" into Epcot & we had arrived. I started clicking away & took some of these:

As we walked through the UK my DH wanted a beer & I just wanted water at that point so that is what we got:

As I was snapping away & taking more pictures of the beautiful topiaries I turned around & almost ran into this guy so I shot him:

With my camera of course!! I was quite surprised when I turned around & saw him right there!!

We walked through Canada & to the beginning of WS & went into the gift shop there. I saw a nice white nylon hat that caught my eye & later in the night I went & bought it. It is so light weight because of the material that I wore it off & on all week. It is white though so will need to be washed often.
You will see it in pics.

So we walked around a little bit & went to check in for our ADR here...

Lecellier!!! We love eating here. Can you say cheese soup & pretzel bread??

Good Morning!

Had to get off line last night due to a severe thunderstorms - around here that means severe lightning. Here's what we hear all summer...soo scary:

If finances allow I want to do both!~! I will also have to see how my escort job goes as they do have trips in June , which if I could land one of them I couls squeeze in a meet or two !! Then February would be a definate !!!!

Our CM we had was so cute. Her name was Melissa and she is from Vancouver. She has been to Australia & wants to travel when she is done with the college program. Any who on to the meal. I had the salmon & chicken:

& DH had the Mushroom Filet (which I did not get a pic of sorry)!! I had a glass of wine & DH had a Moosehead Ale. We both ordered the Choc Moose for dessert. The service was great & all the food was coming out quickly until dessert & we were waiting a little bit for it & then when it came I knew why:

The Happy Anniversary greeting in chocolate.

After eating we walked back to the BC to see if our luggage had arrived. It had & along with the luggage was a package I had ordered as a surprise for my DH:

I ordered it from Disney Florist & it had a bottle of Rosa Regale wine that we both like, Lindt truffles, cookies, wine goblets, a frame signed by Mickey & Minnie, 2 choc bars, a light up Tinkerbell (which I lost a few nights later), a red Mickey head shaped tray that held everything.

We unpacked all our stuff & then headed back to Epcot because we wanted to see Fran Cosmo at the Flower Power Concert. Fran Cosmo if you did not know used to play with the group Boston.

His younger son also played with them. They were very good!! I called home so my sons could hear it on the answering machine. My oldest Ryan is a musician & plays piano & guitar & is has a minor in music at UNH. He text me back & said "That is Boston I am hearing. Anyway they were so good we wanted to get there again on Sat or Sunday but never got there again. My DH was on the computer last night though & found a video of them & it was filmed at Epcot on 4/30 the night we were there. Here is a photopass pic taken from our first night at Epcot:

After the show it was around 8:30 so as we were walking through France I got a Grand Marnier slushie (YUM) & DH got a Kronenbourg beer. We headed for the bridge & watched my favorite show Illuminations. I knew we would be seeing it again during the week so I did not take any pics that night. We strolled back through the secret entrance to our BC room to get ready for our first full day of Disney fun!!

So where are we headed on Saturday???? Coming UP:

I don't think there is any better place to eat than Le Cellier, it's our favorite!! I love how they did the dessert for your anniversary...too cute.

We eat at Lecellier every trip. That was very cute what they did with the dessert. We received a lot of cute things during the week. Stay tuned as I will be mentioning them.

Don't you just love Rose Regale?? One day we had not opened the bottle yet so we opened it during the day & I put some in my resort mug & went to the pool.
