25 year old/ what to do at night?

Hey, me and a couple of my friends got lucky and were given a free week in disney by someone who couldnt use it. So now we have four 25 year old guys headed down to disneyworld in august. Is there anything for us to do at night now that pleasure island is closed. Wed rather not leave the actual resort, so where are the places that other people our age might be hanging out?

When will you be there in Aug? I'll be heading down to WDW in less than 3 weeks with 2 girlfriends and my cousin. I can't even tell you how upset we are that PI is closed! We used to have so much fun there. We'll be heading out to CityWalk at least one night while we are there. Not sure what we will do the other nights, but here are some things we are considering that you may also want to check out....not sure what you are looking to do....

Atlantic Dance at the Boardwalk. It is opened most nights. I can't remember if I've been there- if I have, it has been years.

Rix- Lounge at Coronado Springs Resort

Raglan Road- Pub-still open at PI

Paradiso- new at PI. I haven't been but heard it is more of a restaurant/lounge, but supposedly good drinks?????

House of Blues- West side. Cast member night used to be on Sundays (not sure if that is still true). It was(is?) packed on those nights- mostly dance/techno music played.

Jelly Rolls- Boardwalk- dueling piano bar

There are some other bars and hotel lounges at the resorts and there is also more bars/restaurants on the Boardwalk. If you liked PI though- I suggest CityWalk if you can manage to get there.

I will be there aug 16th-21. I never went to PI only been to disneyworld twice both time on family vacations, but I always heard that that was the thing to do at night if you were older. I think were basicallly just looking for something to do with people our age after 9pm.

Epcot on emhe go drink somthing from each country. Its an older crowd the later it is at epcot.

My DH and I always look for stuff to do once the parks close. We like heading to the Epcot resort area (Yacht Club/Beach club/Boardwalk). We like the bar in the Boardwalk, ESPN Zone, Yacht Club has a ping pong table near their maragarita bar that fun. We've also just wandered around the hotel lobbies to see what they look like.
We stay at Port Orleans French Quater, and really like the guy that performs there nightly. There should be a link somewhere of where live performers are. Are you staying on property? Maybe check out if there's anything going on there at night. Also, we like to hang out in the jacuzzi at night - there's less kids.
Downtown Disney, we like Raglan Road. Try a Snake Bite, wicked good (hard cider, beer and black currant). They also have live music inside or you can sit at the outside bar. We also like eating late at the Rainforest Cafe then darting in to the stores right as they are closing.
Polynesian has beautiful grounds. It's been recommended to us to get a drink at the bar and walk around the grounds in the moonlight.

If you are right at the Boardwalk Villas, then...

if you are baseball fans, it's always a good time at ESPN. and Jellyrolls (or so I've heard). And the best part... No driving LOL!

Oh yes, I agree with the previous poster that drinking around the world at EPCOT is a good time. I'm also in my mid-20s, and I don't know about you, but I'm not down with the club scene anymore anyhow (lol), but I like the bar/lounge/drink scene. You guys could go to the Big River Brewery and have some drinks outside at the Boardwalk, especially if you're staying there.

Downtown Disney is also awesome. You could take the bus over and hit up the House of Blues for drinks, entertainment, etc. I'm sure you'll have a fun time!!

Jellyrolls is open late - last call is 1:30am, doors close promptly at 2. Also there is late night bus service that will take you back to your resort.

ESPN is a good time, especially since you're staying at BW anyway and I'm thirding (or fourthing?) drinking around the world. That's fun =]. And if you want to do something during the day besides go into the parks, just sitting around at the pool during the day and grabbing drinks from the bar is nice. But I agree with everything else that's been said so far, especially the places on the BW, they're a good time.

4 dudes at WDW? Youre going to have a blast!! everything that has already been posted are GREAT ideas. even though PI is closed, there is still ALOT for people our age to do at DTD late at night.

My DH and I are 26 and 27 and are also looking for something to do during the last week in October. If we want to go over to the Boardwalk hotel, how can we get back to our All Star Music resort?

I have these nightmares of being stuck at the boardwalk over night!

YES to Jellyrolls...went two nights in a row and totally worth the cover charge. The crowd gets SO into it. There are a few other imbibing places along the boardwalk - you'll have a great time.
