Restaurant.com now has gc's for $2 with the code: MEAL

House of Blues in DTD accepts them. You have to check out what the rules are for each place, but usually it's that you have to spend a minimum of $35, and there's an 18% gratuity automatically added.

Some places only accept them certain days of the week, too. I've used them all over, at home and when travelling, and love, love, love them.

They do expire within a year...but I've also heard that if you don't use them, and call before they expire, that they'll extend the expiration date. Haven't done it myself, so YMMV.

Thank you for posting this! We have wanted to go to House of Blues each trip but never made it. This year it's a for sure! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know when the promo code ends?

You can buy restaurant.com gcs (that you then redeem for gcs for the actual restaurants) with it, too, and I figured this might be a better idea for us if it ends soon.

THANKS! We will use these for sure! We get them for local restaurants too. Thanks for the heads up!

If you use Ebates, don't forget to log in there first- you get 15% back from restaurant.com on top of the discount.---Kathy

I never undersatnd how it works. Do you get gift cards that can just be used at certain places? i know that when I have looked in my area, basically no one takes it.

Ok I could kick myself...luckily I didn't wast too much money. I thought you could use more than one gc at a time and I thought they sent them to you rather than you having to print them. I hate the printed ones, but can live with it. But I ordered more of each kind because I thought I could use 2 or 3 of one at a time. I found the wing station near us is now on the list and ordered 3 $10 ones thinking it would be a cheap dinner tomorrow, but then I see I can only use 1 at a time with a $20 minimum. I don't mind the minimum if I could use more than 1 at once. But if you can only use one at a time, these are coupons rather than gift cards.

You can only use one at a time and once per month per restaurant,in my opinion they are a great deal as I've used them in a lot of good restaurants getting basically $22 or $23 off the check.I only buy the $25 ones as those coupons at most places require you spend $35-$50.So getting $35 of food for $13 plus tax and tip is good in my book,as is $50 of food for $28 plus tax and tip. They pretty much have the discounts on these every month, one month it'll be 70% off,the next 80%,the next 60 percent. One time they actually had a 90% discount where I stocked up.

Sorry about that, but I did mention checking out the rules for each place... :(

I couldn't find rules out on the home page though? It wasn't til lafter I purchased that I found them on the printed off versions. I still couldn't find where it says 1 per month though.

Thank you!!! What would have cost me $126 in GCs just cost me $25!!!!! And that's the site's prices! You just saved me a ton.... and gave me and DBF a lot of ideas of places to go eat on his AND my side of town !
