We were on a Mexican Riveria cruise in Febuary and of course with my luck, I got quite sick with food poisoning/flu? I was confined to my room for 3 days and spent those days going to the medical center for pills, needles and fluids.
I get home and later on, the mail comes from Disney with two 25% off coupons for a future cruise before April 2014. Now that was nice. Do I have to book through the Dsiney travel or can I book through other travel agents and can they apply the coupon?. Just wondering if anyone else has had these coupons to use.

I honestly can't answer this because never been through it, but I think your safest bet is to simply call DCL or drop an e-mail to Dreams Unlimited Travel and ask... they are the ones you know you can trust with an answer to this question :)

Sorry to hear you got sick but Congrats on a little pixiedust!! pixiedust:

Nice to see DCL stepping up beyond what they have to do. Congrats.:thumbsup2 Sorry about the sickness you had to experience.

I don't know about this coupon specifically. However, in the past when I had a bounceback coupon I was able to book thru my TA (not the one named in an above post). I had to fax the coupon to the TA so they could fax it to DCL for the booking, and then mail it to them.

Call your TA--they will have to research it for you, but I suspect it doesn't matter how you book as long as it is paid with cash (as opposed to DVC points)

I'm sorry you were so sick, that sounds awful.
DH & I received these vouchers as well in a response to a letter we wrote addressing a major maintenance issue in a concierge suite on a 7-night cruise. We were able to transfer an OBB, travel agent OBC, and have the vouchers applied to a 7-night Fantasy cruise next year, concierge room. Of course, since it was concierge - no additional 10% off for the OBB, but we did get the OBC from Disney and a nice amount from our TA (total of $550 OBC).
We just had to mail the vouchers in to DCL, the invoice was adjusted in a couple of weeks.

Yes, I could give you my experience a couple year ago that situation happen to my thanks I bought the insurance and they also compensate with a portion of our cruise ,disney with 20% discount only for the person that was in my cabin,
I reserve online and then I call the num that is in the reservation and they apply the discount,I use it for new year eve cruise 2009. Awesome des count and experience

I had a similar voucher, but it was an exact amount as opposed to a % discount. We made our reservations and mailed the voucher back to DCL. It was credited within 48 hours so we could pay off the balance.

Really impressed with the way DCL handled it. Can't wait to be on the Fantasy in six weeks!
