Can you do it if you have already done a dvc presentation?
Yes, I did it last week. It was simple, took less than 10 minutes. They send you an email link which you click on and they go through the "phone tour " of DVC. They will send you a very nice book via fedex about DVC (mine arrived 2 days after the conversation) and the gift card is supposed to come a week after the book.
The DVC rep told me that You have to be at home to
sign for the gift card since it has cash value, fedex can't just leave it.
Also if you do it, have your laptop up and running. I didn't have mine on and she had to wait for me to get the laptop started. The phone presentation will not work on an iPad or iPhone.
The rep was very friendly and never once asked me to buy. She just gave information and asked me if I had any questions. Very pleasant conversation![]()

Question for those in the know - do they do real-life tours, too? I think DH would enjoy that on our upcoming trip.

Yes they do real-life tours. There is usually a DVC booth set up just outside Chef Mickeys. You can talk with them and they will sign you up for a tour or you can stop at any of the DVC booths throughout the parks.
When we took our tour we had them pick us up at EPCOT. They driver met us at AA and took us backstage. It was nice to see some of the backstage area.
The first package of materials will be left at your door, but the FedEx envelope with the $25 gift card requires a "direct signature" for whatever reason. A FedEx direct signature requires that the recipient be present to sign for the package. When you get your first door tag (if you're not home), you can go to FedEx.com and have the package redirected/held at your local FedEx facility or Kinkos.
I had my third try today. I keep leaving notes on the door to come after 3:15 Now I got my third and final try today. Can someone help me on what I need to do now to get it?
