The oxygen supplier gave me a sign to put on the door here cautioning that there is oygen in use but I didn't think it stood out enough so I went and bought one of those bright neon No Smoking signs..

Now whenever someone comes to the door my granddaughter stops them and says, "See this sign? It says, 'No smoking or you'll blow up my Grandpa !!'.......

C.Ann that is too cute!! I am glad to see your post, I was wondering how you and hubbie were doing...

addenum:
btw= grandaughter is correct -------I had a pt a few years ago who was on O2.. he was a chronic heavy smoker and had a wee bit of dementia. While he was at home he started to smoke while he was on the O2.. he caught himself and his lazyboy on fire... his wife rescued him... he had some pretty bad burns.....
thats not the half of it..
After he got out of the hospital for the burns.. a few weeks after..
he was waiting in the car for wife while she shopped. The man was on O2 he lit up AGAIN!! No kidding! Up in flames he went again. Thank goodness wife was close at hand to put out flames quickly and he rec'd a few minor burns to his face.

No kidding... poor guy....
