24 hr check in with SW

Hey , I would like to know an explanation on how the 24 hr ck in works. Is it by date or actual time you depart. Such as we leave sun at 13:04 hrs .. Do i have to ck in at 13:04 hrs after on sat? Thanks for the help!!

You don't have to check in at that time, but that would be the first available time to check in.

YEP, EXACTLY 24 hours before flight time is when you can first check in. I tried a couple of times just a minute before that time and no luck. Worked great to get "A" boarding pass.

I can confirm what the others have posted - I tried a minute or two before and could not get into the system. But it works great! Highly recommended!

Just did it last night. Our flight leaves at 9 tonight. We did not get home until 10 last night, ran to the computer and got our "A" boarding passes.
