Hi Everyone
We are going to Disneyworld tomorrow ! (Me and my boyfriend)
I have checked and edited my travel list on an excel spread sheet, I edit it every other hour, and change the item list colors from blue to black, as I pack them one at a time.
The camera batteries are charged, the chargers are packed, everything is in those zipper poly bags. The cell phone is charged, the charger is packed. My boyfriend needs to charge his IPOD if he is bringing it. Why can't they just have one charger that charges 10 items ?
I have gotten my Southwest Boarding Passes exactly at 24 hours before the plane takes off tomorrow, and still 36 people got ahead of me.
I am taking two suitcases, one small one in the plane cabin, and another large one on the belly of the plane. The suitcase that is going on the belly of the plane is like a mini grocery store. Am I the only one that packs snacks, chips, candy, popcorn, cookies, cereal, Starbucks Ground Coffee, etc?
My boyfriend is taking one suitcase, and one small over the shoulder bag, and has a new outfit for every day. I keep telling him the Disney Vacation Club Villa has a washer and dryer, which I plan to use every day, really ! I am bringing extra laundry powder, it looks like drugs in the see through poly bags. If the baggage inspectors taste it, they will be blowing bubbles. And yes I have extra dryer sheets.
We are using the Magical Express, and I do miss the grocery shopping via car rental to the local grocery stores like GOODINGS. If Disney only had a bus that took me to the HESS gasoline station at least. I will miss PEPSI products while I am at Disneyworld.
There is still space in the suitcase, do I take one more pool shirt, one more pair of shorts, add the swim goggles? My packing style is like pack what you need first, but then fill up the rest with what you also would like to have.
I know that all the groceries, snack items will be gone by the end of the week, so there is room for taking home souveniers. (Reuse all space !)
I have procrastinated doing things like fixing my eyeglass frames and buying new headphone covers until this morning, and amazingly I got this all done in a total of 10 minutes.
Now I relax on the couch, waiting for Oprah or Ellen
to come on, and still contemplate what else can I fit in the luggage.
Maybe some frozen bagels and whole grain bread, packed in more poly bags of course. Now I have to weigh the luggage to make sure it isn't over 50 lbs. Did I mention I am bringing a laptop ?
Hugs, Phil
