I arrive at BWV 24 hours before we do MLK weekend adult style! Epcot and drinks around the world on Friday and Hollywood Studios followed by dinner and Jellyrolls. Iarrive on Wednesday evening and have all day and evening solo on Thurday. (The rest of my group arrives very late that night.

Looking for recommendations for my solo day. Fourty something male (young at heart) who loves disney ... I do not want to be that "weird guy".

I like to hit favorite roller coasters...I might try to run from park to park hitting the biggies...check EMH-hit that park first, then hop to next park and schedule Fast Passes for the MK roller coasters in the late evening. No one else notices what others are doing so I would not worry about being that weird guy...

You can do whatever it is that you would like to do that the rest of your group does not want to do!

Would not worry too much about that - I go for 7 days on my own and really don't get that.
Most people assume I'm taking a break from the family for a few hours - not 7 days.

You can always do a pre-check of drinking at Epcot - the pub is always good.
Germany is good as well for a meal and they make you sit with others (8 to table) - that can be OK if you get the right people
There is a great bar in the dolphin hotel a short walk form Epcot - blue zoo opens at 4 I think
There is the Tiki bar at the Polynesian.
The Irish bar at DTD is ok..even if they have baby pints.
Martini bar at the GF is decent

A couple of the coasters have a single rider line - Everest and RnRC

The answer to that is "Whatever you feel like doing." Going solo does not make anyone weird. I have had to go solo pretty much for the last 14 years. I have gone on whatever I wanted to and never once felt that I had to be with someone to be considered normal. We are all there for the same reason and that is to enjoy ourselves and immerse ourselves in the fantasy.

The joy of solo traveling is the fact that you can do whatever you want, when you want, in the sequence you want, in the location you want. No one to balance out or compromise with.

As someone said, the instances of people with others that go on rides by themselves, because whomever they are with do not want to, is very common. I have found that if anyone questions things they must be keeping it to themselves or are way to focused on what they are doing to be even a little bit concerned about what I do.
