24 hour poll!! MNSSHP, to do or not to do

Ok we havent goten tickets yet, we say we are going BUT we still cant commit to buying tickets! So Im gonna Poll ya'll for my decision! 24 hours only

what is your hesitation?

DW & I (late 40's) did this and we loved it. We dressed as Disney Doctors (got Disney scrub tops, solid scrub pants, and sneakers) and were very comfortable. We got our pix taken (free) and the rest of the just bopped around riding our favorite rides. We even rode Cindy's Carousel, something we never do, and afterwards had our pix taken with Belle & Beast - no one was around. I definitely recommend it. You won't be sorry.

Heck, the only reason I'm *not* going to Pirate&Princess is that my kids are early-to-bed sorts. If I thought I could leave them at home, DW and I would go to P&P in a heartbeat!

I guess our apprehension is the cost, this is also our first trip sans kids we are celebrating our 10 yr anniversary and we just arent sure if we would enjoy it, we want to see the park halloween-y and the parade but is there any other perks?

OMGosh. No question! I'm going with only adults myself AND dressing up. I can't wait!

And I'm going to the Pirates and Princess party too! I'm just a big kid after all! Walt said so!

A big YES!!!! DH & I are planning on going to our 1st MNSSHP next month by ourselves. As a matter of fact, we have tickets to 2 parties for the week we're going to be there! We've gone to MVMCP for the past 3 years without our kids (21 & 17)...basically because they aren't into the whole Disney thing...and have thoroughly enjoyed it!

I wouldn't hesitate in the least!

This will be my sister's and my third time going to Mickey's Special Halloween Party..and my thirteen year old granddaughter's first....I am taking nine of us the the Pirates and Princess Party in February. My sister is 63 and I am 56....it's truly a different "feeling" altogether...You gotta try it...

the cost is a consideration for sure but you will have a great time. personally, i think the fireworks alone are worth the cost! it's a fun atmosphere and there are lots of unusual characters out.

Definitely do it! Last year was our first time and we loved it! So much so that we are going back this year and already planing for next.

While we are taking our two kids- 11 and 24 this trip, IF we were on our own we would not pass up the chance to go to this fun event! It is well worth the $$. Adults and kids all have a good time.And as a previous poster mentioned the fireworks and parade are worth the price of admission...

I say GO! There are seven adults in my group going all going for our very first MNSSHP... and at 25, I'm the youngest of the group. We're all just big kids when we get to Disney World
