If I bring my 10-22 and 24-105 lens on the xti, will that be enough? I really do not think I will need the 70-200 as I have heard that the the only place it is good for is AK, but then on the Safari ride, it is to hard to get a good shot as you are zoomed in as well as on a moving/shaking vehicle.
I get about 165mm (wiht the crop factor on the 24-105).
Thanks

I brought my 70-300 on the Safari. There were lots of times where I wish I had something a bit wider. You can get some decent shots, but be prepared to have a lot of junk. Like you said, you are on a moving bumping ride. Plus, the angle of the sun is constantly changing as well. Shoot fast and shoot often. ;)

I have these same lenses and I always carry the 70-200 at AK (sometimes at the other parks too). Like most, my hit/miss ratio on the safari is not great but I do get some images that worked much better because of the long lens.

To me a 105 is still only a 105, the crop factor reduces the angle of view but does not increase the magnification, which is what I really want on the safari.

The long lens can come in handy at other parks, for getting close images of the characters in the castle forecourt show, parades, stage shows, and Fantasmic.
