23 years of "magic"...

HUbby and I met on a singles trip to EPCOT in August of 1983. He was the quiet one. Boy has that changed!! Anyway, we bagan to date a few weeks later, and then he left for Navy bootcamp that November. Thus we began out long-distance courtship. He returned in May of 1984 and we were married July 28th 1984.

We honeymooned at WDW. At that time they only had the 2 parks. MK and EPCOT. Epcot has always been special to us. We celebrate most all of our anniversaries there, and always take a picture at the spot where we struck up our first conversation, at the bridge before China.

So we are very excited about our next trip which will be July 29th thru August 5th. We will be staying at Ft. WIlderness in our "New to us" pop-up camper. We are taking our "baby" with us. Our 4# chihuahua. He is so spoiled but so dog-gone cute!!

We've made a few plans, made some ADR's, but mainly plan to relax alot and enjoy the "fort". Hopefully we'll see some "dis-ers" while we're there.

Very sweet story. I know that Disney must be very special to you. Will you have your Disboard name out on your camper? We're staying at Pop during that time, but we plan to come over to the campgrounds one night just to stroll and check out the campfire/sing-along/movie since we've never done that. I'm sure it would be a one in a million chance that we'd happen to walk by your camper, but if we do, we'll leave you a hello note. We're going to leave noteboards on our rooms at Pop. It's always fun and interesting to come in from the day's activities and read notes from people all over the U.S. I hope you and your husband and your little fellow have a great, relaxing vacation in your new camper.

I was planning on leaving a lime green Mickey I got from Home Depot somewhere. But yes, I will try to leave my DIS name somewhere as well. We will have a large Pooh flag attached to our pop-up or awning if we get one in time. Also will have a smaller pooh flag out front of our site. We will be in the 300 loop if you want to stroll over and see if we're "home". I'd be happy to meet you and your's.
