Looks to me that Disney has something new up their sleeves...what could it be?

Could it be a new movie? a new game? We'll all have to wait and find out on March 10th!

Some Therories I've found on a few places:

-The Walt Disney Company was founded in 1923.

-Pixar is 23 years old this year.

-Discover 23 family adventures with new itineraries in 2009
This one was taken right off the Disney site, and "23" was bolded.

Have any guesses on what it could be? Remember nobody knows what this means at all...

Nobody knows what this is all about.. we're all going to find out on March 10th.

23 new Adventures by Disney resorts:confused3

23 new ticket options

23 new prices

:confused3 :confused3

23 world wide Disney resorts. :D
23 theme parks?
23 hotels?
23 monorail colors!

Probably something to do with Pixar.
Maybe they'll come out with 23, 23 minute movies.
Every week for 23 weeks.

i have no clue but whatever it is, it has to be awesome!

I heard they were just releasing 23 bluray movies that day.... Sorry my answer ain't all that magical ;)

I heard it might be a club for hardcore Disney fans, with conventions and memorabilia and all that. But who knows!

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was about The Number 23 (one of my favorite movies).

I wish it was an announcement for a new park or attraction, but it's probably a movie or something like that.

An exclusive club in WDW? DLR has "Club 33" so maybe WDW will have "Club 23".

On the News & Rumours board, someone mentioned that on a different Disney board, someone posted this, but was deleted soon afterwards:

This concept was created because the Company has gotten a LOT of flack saying they only cater to the casual tourist and not to the true Disney fans. It came to a head last year when Iger was berated by a Disney fan who said the Company did not care about them. In the past, all Disney "fan clubs" were run externally. In this case, there is a Company-wide initiative with the D-23 event, as its called. It will be a major push and their hope is to really form a relationship with the true Disney fans.

Essentially people will pay about $100 a year to receive some very cool, exclusive merchandise, CDs, DVDs, etc. They will also be invited to a yearly or bi-yearly (to be determined at the moment) event in Anaheim or Orlando (the first event is scheduled to be in Anaheim). Each Company department will be presenting something unique that Disney fans would appreciate (behind-the-scenes looks at theme park technology, a pre-release screening of a new movie, etc). This convention is expected to be huge, with Disney sparing no expense.

They will be announcing this new program in March.

Oooh so if this is true I was somewhat right!

Isn't there a profession of sorts called Viginitresology? I heard it was a study of how the number 23 occurs a lot in various places.

From what a lot of people are saying, it's going to be a club like thing for the disney fans. Because a lot of disney fans were complaining that all of the people who get into Club 33 are just regular tourists and not disney fans. So di$ney wanted to solve this problem and the "Are you 23?" is supposidly what it's going to be.

I found that on another site saying that, and I thought it was very interesting! I would've never thought of it that way..lol.
