sorry to hear about your randy pictures. for some strange reason i can't see them at work but will look when i get home. at least you did the e-pics and found out before your wedding that he was not for you. that is great he is refunding you but he is DEF trying to keep your buisness by saying he "sent the wrong CD". you have to go with what is good for you. it is your wedding and to me the pictures are one of the most important aspects of the wedding. i hear so many bad things about Disney photographers but when i look at people's pictures they look really nice. it is all about your taste and what you like. i hope you are able to get roots since they seem to have a great following. good luck!!!

I'm sorry you are unhappy with the photos. It's good that you have some you like, including the one you are now using in your avatar.

Since you received ALL the photos, it's not crazy that you will have some bad ones. If you spend any time on the photography board, you would see that for every good shot, there are MANY bad ones. Many places charge more than what you paid and only give you a few prints. Still, if you aren't happy, you should find someone else.

I also think you should goo with Disney. It will save you money!

Arrive Friday, 2/26 (probably about 8 p.m.) Check in at Poly
Saturday- Heading over to DHS for ESPN the Weekend and dinner at 'Ohana
Sunday-Breakfast at Kona and dinner at Wolfgang Pucks (MY FAV!)
Monday- Raglan Rd with bridal party and my brother
Tuesday- Rehearsal dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe
Wednesday- WEDDING
Thursday- Le Cellier with Pat and Lauren
Friday-Whispering Canyon with Pat and Lauren
Sat- Last night Dinner at Citricos

I totally understand they aren't ALL going to be perfect. But out of 450 there should be more than 10 or 20 good shots. Just not acceptable.

You paid $135 and received 450 photos. Most places don't give you all the photos. Instead, they charge a LOT more and you get a few prints. Now, I agree that a lot of the pictures weren't the greatest, but again, he didn't edit them yet. Besides, you liked one enough to use it as your new avatar.

I said that if you aren't happy, you should find someone new. I don't think Randy is the best out there, but that's why he is cheaper.


Oh, and I LOVE 'Ohana and Kona!!!

I'm glad you are going with a different photographer. I would have expected about 50 to be edited and put online and the rest sent via CD for you to go through. Not impressive at all.

Not to argue over semantics but we paid $175...$175 for 20 good shots. That's not a good deal. And he should have edited them, not all of them but a handful at least. And like I said before, we did like a few...none were great nor did we LOVE any of them. Plus, we paid for them, so even though we aren't using him for the wedding, those pictures are still ours.

OK, I was wrong about the price, but it still isn't a bad deal. That's $8.75 a photo, not bad at all. He did say that they weren't edited, so that argument goes out the window.

I agree that they are yours and I agree that you should find someone else. I believe I said that you should think about using Disney. They would save you money. You already said that you will probably have to cut things from the wedding due to cost. So, why not have Disney?

If you are going to have the reception in AK, DPS might be high, but they will be able to take pictures in the park. I know Lauren will be there, but any photographer you have can't take hours and hours of you getting ready and the wedding..you should have them at the reception too.
