How does a makeup trial go bad? I did my own hair and makeup since the cruise didn't offer it so I have no idea what a trial entails.

You didn't tell us what happened at the planning session either! I want to visit Franck's so bad, but now that Cathy is no longer with DFTWs..I don't really have a reason to pop in. What do they do in a planning session?

So...I was in Disney World when you started your new PJ and I've been a bit absent since I got back, so I JUST realized you started a new PJ about 2 days ago. Sacrificed a lot of productivity at work to catch up and here I am!! I'm glad I found you...I was worried when I didn't see your PJ popping up in my Subscriptions every day.

I have to say I love the choices you guys have made recently. Especially the dress/necklace combo for your e-pics. I love the color combo.

And, Tamu Tamu looks like a fabulous location for the reception!

I think a makeup trial could easily go bad. Especially if the person puts too much makeup on. Or makes you look completely different than yourself. I did my own makeup for my wedding. I looked like myself AND it was cheaper.

Ahhh, yes. Make-up/hair not even lasting to the mid afternoon hours would be very, very bad for a wedding. Hmm... Do you have any friends whose make-up/hair you have always loved (and are coming to the wedding)? Maybe you could ask them for a trial run, or to teach you some tips so you can do it yourself the day of. Glad your planning session was awesome though! Can't wait to read about it!

Oh no! You definitely need to go with someone else, your make-up should last more than 45 minutes. I had Ana from Beaute Speciale do my make-up for our e-pics in June during that crazy heat wave when it felt like over 100 degrees everyday with INSANE humidity. We were outside the whole time for over an hour, and my make-up stayed put. She put some type of waterproof spray on it and it really helped. She even gave me a little extra for touch-ups but I only needed that on my nose. She did an awesome job with my makeup and I was really happy with her.
