I like the new earrings. The new cake is nice to; it's more suited for a wedding IMO. I would probably go with a green or blue ribbon, but that's just me.

I noticed that we are suppose to be at WDW at the same time and will be staying at ASMu. Word of warning: The love Bugs have been out in full force lately.

They are nasty, but you can avoid them. It really stinks to drive, because hundreds will hit your windshield. At my house, they are all over the place and you step on them, but when we go out they aren't as bad.

The problem I see with that is 1) it is fur and Disney might have a problem with you wearing that in AK..you know..they are very animal friendly there and might take offense to the fur stole and 2) it is a wrap that you will have to hold on..you can't move around like if you were wearing a jacket with sleeves. I have a pashmina that I wear to formal events and it always ends up on a chair because you just can't move and shake hands and hug..all of which you will be doing.
You need something that you can put on and not need to hold...

ETA - Love bugs are nasty little buggers..they will eat the paint off your car in days if you don't wash them off. Worst part about driving through central Florida!

I really like that new cake you posted with the pink ribbons. I would stick with the white flowers too. Maybe you can use green table linens for the cake table to bring in the green.

Don't worry too much. Just bring your inspirations pics and Rose from Disney floral will give you great suggestions too. She was wonderful.

Since we have just a week to go I thought I would do a little update.

First...jewelry!! We finally narrowed down the 4 pairs of earrings and settled on a pair my mom picked up when she was shopping alone. I tried the dress on with all the earrings and veil yesterday (no pics). Still not sure about the veil but hopefully I will get a better idea during my hair trial next week.

And she also got me this. I didn't think I wanted a bracelet but I really liked it with the dress.

Oh and Sarah if you are around...you may have NOT been vetoed about your cake!! More later!!

Does that mean you vetoed by cherry blossom (in green, pink or blue) cake?

Love the fur personally, and if it is fake fur I can't see how they'd mind. If it is real...no idea. I did a fake fur pashmina and it was fine but it was heavy enough to largely stay in place versus a silk or cashmere wrap which is much more slippery

Oh the fur would be really awesome in photos! But I understand where Betsy is coming from. Although, could Disney prevent you from wearing it? If anything, watch out for the red paint from PETA!

But as for holding on to it all night, maybe you can get a simple closure stitched into the inner lining of it (right near the fur/lining seam) either a snap or a hook and eye, more so the hook and eye. I would take it to a tailor and see! That way, you could freely move your arms around but still wear it.

I knew those years of working in a fabric store during high school would pay off!

Yea...Cherry Blossoms don't really go. The bracelet I love thought...and nope, no snags!! I checked that out!

Thanks! I love the fur...I'm not usually one for real fur, I wouldn't buy something new that was real fur, but this is a family heirloom. Plus it fits so well!!

I agree Toni...too Birthdayish. As much as we love the original one we picked everyones reactions led us to take a second look. That coupled with the Giraffe Cake toppers, well it just became too birthdayish. But we love the animal print and definitely want something a bit different!!

No...we tried 4 different pair and for one reason or another it just didn't look right.

Also, an idea for the wrap, maybe a brooch would work, to add a bit of sparkle. Although, I don't know if it would pull from all the moving you would be doing It's beautiful though.
