I liked Artist Point!

Interested in your opinion of both sci-fi and citricos.

I'm thinking about doing a review when we return. I'm such a weirdo, I even got a little notebook to take with us to the restuarants. I wonder if people will think I'm nuts for taking pics of our food???? Oh well...I guess I don't really care. I will anyway. (But no flash, I guess.)

DAY THIRTEEN:

Doing Epcot in the morning.

We have lunch scheduled for 12:00 at Les Chefs de France. Wonder if Remy may still be there??

Dinner this night at California Grill at 7:35. I love watching the fireworks from the deck....


DAY FOURTEEN:

There's EMH 8am at MK, so we're going to get there early. Then leave the park and go to the Contemporary for lunch at the Wave at 12:00.
We're going to leave around 4:30 to go explore the Animal Kingdom Lodge before dinner at Boma at 7:10pm.

We were originally going to stay there so I'm really looking forward to seeing it. If we really like it (which we most likely will) thenmaybe I'll be able to convince DH to stay there next November.

Day Fifteen:

Hollywood Studios this morning! I never used to like HS. (or in my mind MGM)
I've now come to LOVE it. It's funny how my opinion of rides, attractions, and shows changes depending on who I'm traveling with. Untill a couple of years ago, I'd always had the kids with us, and never thought there was much for me to enjoy at HS. But since I've really taken the time to explore it in a more relaxed way, It's really become my favorite park. I just wish there was more (and better) dining options there.

Although lunch this day at Hollywood Brown Derby (11:30) isn't too shabby....

Dinner this night is at Artist Point again. (7:30) Since this night is our last full night at Wilderness Lodge, we thought it'd be nice to stay near our room, and enjoy the resort a little.

DAY SIXTEEN:

This day we check out of the beautiful Villas and check IN to All Star Music!

We're staying in a preferred room. Wish they were a little bigger, even though I do love the theming:

After leaving WLV, we're going to head straight to Epcot in the morning.

Then we have lunch at Le Cellier at 11:30 am. YUM YUM!!!!

After lunch, we're going to check in our room (talk about culture shock...it's gonna seem small).

Dinner this night is at Jiko at 7:30pm. I'm not sure if I'm going to like Jiko or not. It's hard to tell from the menus I've seen. Anyone out there eaten there before and have an opinion??

OK, it's bedtime. I have to be up at 4:45am. The new salon is going to kill me before I can even get to WDW!!!

I am amazed at your schedule for Disney! It sounds so wonderfully relaxing! You are doing it the right way. Yes, for sure take pictures where you eat and write up your opinions, good idea! We all love pictures of anything down there!

Thank you! I've decided to definitely do a dining review. I really have enjoyed reading other's reports. We've been working nonstop at the new salon and it should be done completely before we go to Fla.!! I'm exhausted from the holiday rush at work (I'm working about 45 hours a week at the present salon) and still running my DS around. And I really want to wrap everything up before we leave. Being away for 5 weeks is the BEST! But we must pay the price ....

YAY!!!! OUR WDTC PACKET CAME TODAY!!!!!

Now I am seriously EXCITED!!!! OK, I need to get some days itinerary written here.... We only have 26 days left till we leave!

DAY SEVENTEEN:

We're doing HS in the morning. Lunch is at Mama Melrose at 12:00.

This day we're going to spend some time walking around the Boardwalk in the afternoon. MUST go to BW Bakery and use some snack credits.

Later, dinner is at the Flying Fish at 7:25. This should be timed just about right for us to walk into Epcot and see Illuminations and possibly stroll around the countries.

DAY EIGHTEEN:

We're starting our day at MK, and having an early lunch at Tony's Town Square at 11:30.

We may go to Epcot in the afternoon, but I haven't carved that one in stone...we may just want to relax or take a nap or something...

Dinner this night is at Narcoossee's at 7:15pm. I think this one may become a fave...

DAY NINETEEN:


This is the day my Mom arrives!!! Note: She has been taking care of 13 yr old DS all this time....

Her flight arrives at MCO at 8:23am. We're going to pick her up at the airport, even though she could have taken ME. I think she'd be nervous to try to find her way and the buses all by herself. She hasn't actually traveled by herself much before.

Once we get her collected, we'll let her catch anap or relax by the pool if the weather is agreeing. Last year we were there during that NASTY cold front and it was like 35 - 45 every day for a week. ( It sucked) But still better than being in NJ! Hopefully the few days she has at WDW will be at least decent weather for her...

Dinner this night is at California Grill at 7:35pm. I can't wait to share that experience with her!

DAY TWENTY:

This day we're going to Epcot in the morning. Mom also doesn't like "thrill rides, but I'm going to try to talk her into Test Track. It's my fave ride, and I really think she'd enjoy it. I think it looks scarier than it really is.

Lunch is at Coral Reef at 11:35. I tried to get the earlist lunch I could because every time we've eaten here the wait has been LONG!

Then we'll tour the countries and Mom and I will do some shopping! DH will be outnumbered..

Dinner is at Tutto Italia at 7:20 pm. Mom LOVES Italian food, and this place never disappoints us! We're going to eat leisurely and enjoy coffee with dessert, so we can stroll out and watch Illuminations.

Then we'll crash back at ASMu...ZZZZZZZ.....

DAY TWENTY-ONE:

Today is check out day. We're going to HS and we HAVE to get Mom on TSM!
Lunch is later in the day at Hollywood Brown Derby at 2:00pm. I let Mom pick the resturants that she wanted to try for all the days she"s there. I personally think she picked really well!

After lunch we have to hit the road back to the house. Most of the reason for Mom coming down to Fla. is because she eventually wants to move down there near where our house is. So we want to show her around the "real" Florida. And look at different housing areas she may like. It should be a lot of fun and very relaxing for her to get away.BTW... My Mom works for me at my salon. And she works her butt off. And she's a very talented stylist who works the same hours as me and she's twice my age. She's inspiring. She very much deserves this trip. It's her Christmas present from us. She's so excited!

HELLO! We've been SOOO busy, I haven't had a spare minute for ANYTHING! Just want to wrap up our last week's plans, so in case anyone wants to read it, at least the completion is here.

DAY 22,23, AND 24... are all spent at our house showing my mom around the area, and just relaxing.

DAY 25....

Drive mom to airport. Flight at 2:50 to ACY. We have to get her through security around noon. Then we'll go check in to BAY LAKE TOWERS!!!!

We have a one bedroom standard view, with Deluxe Dining.
That night we dine at California Grill at 7:30 pm.

DAY 26...

Got to MK in am.

Lunch at The Wave at 10:50 am. Or is it breakfast??? Anyway...

Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table at 7:00 pm.

DAY 27...

Epcot in the am.

Lunch at Le Cellier at 11:30 am. (one of my faves)

Dinner at Artist Point at 7:05 pm.


DAY 28...

MK in am.

Lunch at Kona Cafe at 11 am.

Dinner at Citrico's at 7 pm.

DAY 29...

Epcot in am.

Lunch at Rose & Crown at 12pm.

Dinner at Narcoossee's at 7pm.

DAY 30...

MK in am.

Lunch at GF Cafe 11:30 am.

Dinner at Ohana at 7:10 pm.

Day 31....

Epcot in am.

Lunch at Tutto Italia at 11:30am.

Dinner at Cali Grill at 7:35 pm. YUMMY

DAY 32...(FEB 1)

check out.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's at 7:10 am.

Lunch at WCC at 1:55pm.

Drive back to house and we catch our return train on Feb6 to go back to crappy NJ.
