21st birthday

so im turning 21 june 1st and My best friend and I got a hotel room for a couple nights and we are going to have a party. Im not really the party girl that some people are and I want the people coming to this party having had a good time.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the following:

Themes
Decorations
Party Favors

etc?

i will not allow alcohol in the room because some of my friends are under 21 and I dont want the 'providing alcohol to minors' on my record. There will be a bar at the hotel that provides complimentary drinks for 2 hours each night for people staying there

I'm totally lost and would love all the help you can give me!!!

How about a Hawaiian theme? Have it kindof like a luau. I'm sure you could search online for some snack ideas.
OR
since you'll be 21, what about a Vegas theme? Could get some dice and stuff to decorate, etc.

How about "1986"? You could look up and download songs from that year. Dress up '80's style, although lots of things i see people wearing these days are a throwback to the 1980's.

Decorations - some rubix cubes, etc. You could even get a season of an 80's sit com to play on the tv in the background.

Go to VH1.com and see if you can find stuff from their "I Love the 80's" series.

I am celebrating my birthday with 2 other people who will be turning 20, so that's one reason that I don't want alcohol involved.

I could do the 80's theme since they were born 87 and the luau idea was adorable! I was talking to my mom and she suggested a mardi gras theme, which i love... with like beaded necklaces and light up martini glasses for drinks (can be non alco.), etc. I like that idea too.

I have a feeling I'm looking into this too much. Like it doesnt have to be this hard. I just want people being like "ok, yeah she does know how to throw a party" haha.

I'm meeting with the other 2 people today to discuss party options, so anymore ideas people can throw at me are APPRECIATED!!!!!!
