My daughter and I are Disneyland vets. We will be staying at the Grand Californian November 20-22. My baby's 21st Birthday is the 21st so we will be onsite that day. If you were celebrating your 21st birthday at Disneyland, what would you want to do? I'm just looking for ideas that would be different from what we might do on any other visit.

Cove Bar has fun drinks. Carthay if you're after a more upscale in-park experience. If your budget can handle it @whoever has suggested the best way to celebrate 21!

I would also suggest that you do stop at Trader Sam's as well, for a fun tiki cocktail. Fun place, great drinks. Maybe earlier in the day or after dinner.

You may already have done the World of Color Dessert Party but that's an option too. On our last trip, my mom and I went from flights of wine at WCT to champagne at the Dessert Party with a great, seated view of the show. It was relaxing and lovely.

Alfresco Tasting Terrace is also a really nice option for a glass (or flight!) of wine and some tasty appetizers. It has a really great view and usually isn't too packed, so it's a nice break from the crowds.

Another vote for Trader Sam's - with all the special effects it is so more than just a drink, it's practically a ride! And I would bet she would get some special attention for being there on the 21st birthday.

Attraction!!!! ;)

Lunch at Trader Sam's sounds so fun, and I think the atmosphere there would be the most lively and entertaining. Maybe grab a massage or facial at the Mandara Spa at the GCH on your way to or from the parks? The Hearthstone lounge in the GCH is beautiful and has an interesting appetizer menu, also. I just checked it and yeah - I want to try 4 things on our next trip! And they serve a Spicy Watermelon Margarita! Sounds awesome! Have fun planning!

Just move into Trader Sam's for your trip, that should cover it LOL. But honestly, Trader Sam's and you like wine, Alfresco Tasting Terrace has really cool wine flights. Love the Carthay Lounge too! I'm almost 23, so I imagine I have the same Disney-interest levels!
