10 weeks and 3 days to us getting some Florida sunshine(hopefully) we have had enough of the cold here already this winter, only managed to get the car out 3 times in the past 11 days with snow and ice, not been above freezing for about 14 days. Worst start to a winter I have ever known.

I have now booked our hotel for after the cruise in August, used some American Airline miles that were due to expire end of Nov, just booked by chance with a few days to spare. Got 3 nights free at Holiday Inn DTD, just have to pay for parking and internet.

We'll be on this cruise, too. Me, my DW, and DS (who will be 14 then). We actually booked this cruise last February while on board our first cruise on the Disney Wonder.

My sister and her husband are going, too, as well as my mother. It's their first cruise.

We're all staying at WDW a few days before and after the cruise. We did a similar itinerary on our last cruise, and it worked out great.

So anyway, just 8 months to go!

We used to be able to take 2 x 32kg pp, that was cut to 2 x 23kg pp now its 1 x 23kg pp thankfully we travel light but not easy for our longer 23-25 night trips in summer., last couple of times we have flown Business class so the allowance has been 3 x 32kg pp a massive allowance.

Going to look for somewhere to eat tomorrow evening now, going to a Meatloaf concert, need a restaurant close by.

Lufthansa is just the same - went from 2 x 32 kg pp to 2 x 23 kg pp - now it is only 1 x 23 kg pp. We will be able to manage for a week in February, but I cannot see us going with only 2 suitcases in August for 30 days! NO way! Even if we stay at OKW again and have the washer and drier handy! Guess I will have to pay the extra charge going home!

For August I have upgraded to Premium Economy for the journey home, gives us 2 x 23kg each & a little more legroom.

Hi! We just booked the 8/21/2011 Dream cruise and are very excited! It will be me, DH, DD12 (actually turning 12 on the cruise) and DD13. It will be my girls' second cruise, but the last one was fall of 2007 on the Wonder, so this will probably be very different for them. We're in cabin 6100, and now are assigned late dining which we are hoping to switch to main dining.

We live in New England (MA) where it is quite chilly right now, so just thinking about next summer on Castaway Cay is a wonderful thing.

Please sign us up for the FE exchange. We've never done it before but are looking forward to it.

Finally - my girls would love to email/chat with other kids their age that are going on the cruise. Let me know if you have kids that are interested and maybe we can get them connected.

Only other thing is if you can check the link I added to your area, I just Googled New England MA and I used the 1st on the list. Is there a better site you would prefer?

Just been on the phone to someone about 40 miles from us in Manchester, she said the snow was starting again, hope its not coming this way.
Saw video on the news today from Lake Erie, Lighthouse Entombed In Ice with frozen water sprayed from the lake. Looked mega cold.

My DD is 6 so i doubt your princesses would like to chat with her haha but we are super excited too. We are in VA so its been chilly chilly here we got early christmas money so that went towards our trip so when you make a payment makes it seem more and more real!!!! The FE's will be super fun!!!
