We finally got our confirmation and found out we'll be in cabin room 2108. Anyone have any pictures of this cabin? Or any pictures of cabins that are close to it? It's a Cat 9 for a family of 4. How was the noise level?

Can't wait:Pinkbounc

Here is a posting from buzz&woody’smom from last year I dug up:

"We stayed in 2108 last October and it sleeps 4 for sure!. We traveled with our 2 DS's. There was the queeen (or can be made into 2 twins), a pull down berth and sofa bed.

It is my favorite cabin so far. It is great and so very, very quiet and very convenient to the elevators and stairs. Have fun and enjoy the cabin!"

Thanks Scottie! That helps a little, but would still love to see pictures if anyone has them

anyone? I know someone has pictures posted that looked like a similar room, but I can't find it now :(

We will be staying in 2098, 2102, 2104, and 2106 on our next cruise. I've stayed in a cat. 9, deck 2 before so I know what the cabins look like.
Check out this thread to see what your cabin will look like with the bunk pulled down. This is an obstructed view cabin on deck 5. Your cabin will not have anything obstructing the view from the porthole.

I have pictures, but no digital to post. You are in "our" room, please take care of it. We always stay in that room with #4 booked for August. It is a great location. Just a short hop up the steps to the restaurants, easy access off the ship and close to the laundry room if you need to press anything. If you pm me I can send you a photo if you don't mind giving out your address.

Thanks Zandy! That's the one I remember seeing before, but couldn't find.

Marky - We'll be sure to take care of "your" room :hyper: No big deal about the picture, but can you tell me if that room has a steamer trunk? I checked the map and saw we were only a few cabins away from the laundry. That will make it nice since I don't want to over pack and can do laundry late.

We stayed in 2110 on the 2/21 Eastern cruise and loved the location. We were close to the elevator and stairs, but not enough to be noisy. Yes, there is a steamer trunk in the room, as well as a lot of other drawers. We had no trouble unpacking all our clothes and fitting them in the drawers and trunk. I have a digital picture of the room during the day and at night. I will try to post it for you. The only time the there was noise in the room was when the ship was docking. We could hear rumbling and banging at that time, but it didn't wake my kids up. One piece of advice... The safety bar on the bunk bed that comes out of the wall tends to rattle a lot. We learned to stick a towel between the bar and the bed to stop the noise. You will be happy with room 2108!

Thanks bassoongirl! It's great to hear about people that have stayed in that partificular room and can't wait to see pictures. I'll keep it in mind about the bar on the bunk bed so we can take care of that the first night.

Thanks again

I wanted to check out your pictures too, but the site says "No albums are available for public display."

Zandy - If you click on newest on the right side of the screen, it'll bring the pictures up.

bassoongirl - Thanks for the pictures. Very excited to see what it'll look like.:teeth:

Tera,

I am so glad you were able to see my pictures! I am not very good with computers and wasn't completely sure that I posted them correctly!

bassoongirl - I know how you feel. If my DH wasn't into computers as much as he is, I wouldn't even know how to get email :hyper: I showed my DD's what our room will look like and they are very excited (not as much as me though) :teeth:

bassoongirl - Did you do the sign for your stateroom door, or are those on there when you arrived??

We were in 2012, which is just a few doors down. Sorry, I don't have any pictures, but it looked just like the ones someone else posted earlier.

It was a good location. We never heard any noise. Our safety-drill spot was in the theater (air conditioned). We did feel a good bit of movement when the ship was sailing, but we enjoyed it. The only negative: it was a long walk to . . . well, everywhere.
