21 nites at the fort

With a 21-day Golf Cart rental, you may as well just buy a golf cart!

Let's see.....21 days times $48/day = $1008 (approx). Yup - you could buy a golf cart for that!

Hey you could buy the golf cart, then start a Golf Cart Swap for everyone here! When you're done with your 21 days, just leave it for the next person on the list. Then they could leave it for the next person........

:thumbsup2

Great minds think alike Rhonda. :thumbsup2
Maybe I should see what Tungpo1 wants for one of those sweet carts he has?

Just for the sake of reference, I am the guy that waxed and armor all'ed his rental cart the one winter.

BAMA ED yes comedy wearhouse is a family place you are still at WDW and they remind you of that when they ask for help with ideas. A fun time you would enjoy, have fun. I do wish they would bring back a county bar\nightclub though.

I always liked the Armadillo-whatever-it-was-called country bar they had there. Only problem is, whenever I went inside it, there was hardly anyone ever in it, while the other places would be packed.

Pleasure Island had such great memories for me from when I was in my early 20's, but since then, it's just not the same place to me anymore.

Although I LOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEE Raglan Road, it's one of my favorites easily. I know some people don't like it, but I love the look, the feel, the original bar from Ireland, and I absolutely love the food (Scallops on a Fork are the best appetizer I have ever had in my life, bar none).

I loved it so much I celebrated my 30th birthday there, at least, I think I did, I'm having problems remembering that night ;)

That whole memory loss thing happens more frequently as you get older.
We were in Raglan last year enjoying a pint and we overheard a family talking to their server stating they were from Dublin, I debated about asking them as they were leaving about their impression of the place, I decided not to bother them. Although its a nice place I am sure its nothing like a Dublin pub.
The one decent Irish bar in my hometown has become infested with tie wearing yuppie scum so I dont stop as often as before.

Well, I wouldn't imagine it's exactly like a Dublin pub, this is Disney after all ;) Much like I don't imagine that the Rose and Crown is exactly like a London pub (I read yesterday that the Rose and Crown actually has three different centuries of architectural design behind it, the outside architecture is a design that is much older than the inside design).

We actually have quite a few good English pubs here in South Florida, because there is a large English population that moves here. In fact, we have a similar pub called the Blue Anchor, it's right near the intracoastal. It was an original pub in London, and they took it all apart and moved it here. It's walls, windows, bar, almost everything is the original from London, and don't get me started on their fish and chips!

The Blue Anchor was actually a hangout for Winston Churchill, and two of Jack the Ripper's victims were last seen in the pub. It's got quite a history behind it, and I have to admit, it's rather cool to sit at a bar and rest your arms on a table that Winston Churchill probably rested his on at one time as well.

P.S. Then again, this is Florida after all. There's a bar every 50 yards for the most part, especially near the beaches ;)
