21 degrees, 40+ MPH wind gusts, 12:30AM..... and I just....

drove past Wal-Mart and there are 3 people in line! Can you imagine 40+ MPH wind gusts, it is 21 degrees, and standing ( well, sitting in this case ) in line to get into Wal-Mart?

Not me.....Years ago we would get in line trying to get the coveted toy for that the kids wanted, but most people started lining up at 5-6am....I hear there were people already lining up before 10pm on TG day....
DD 26 called and said her dh was going to go to Walmart at 3am to try for the laptop....It is freezing where they live....I told her that chances are he wont get one..

BTW, as I drove past, the Walmart was buzzing inside with workers. I don't shop at Walmart, but man I am even happier that I won't be working there tomorrow!

Its 4am - Im waiting for a friend to pick me up and we're heading to that mad house! ahhhh - never done it before and maybe wont again. But for this year we're welcoming in the Christmas season!

DH left at 5:20 to go to work and is back already. Another story. But he said that when he drove past the Wal-Mart the parking lot was jammed. It is very cold here, and I have no plans at all of going to any department store. I will run out to the grocery store and hope with all my heart that everyone is at Wal-Mart.
