20th Anniversary Suggestions

Please help me plan the ultimate 20th anniversay celebration that is not a WDW vacation. All ideas are welcome!!

A summer Rocky Mountain getaway...we did this for our 5th and 10th anniversary (and honeymoon!

Estes Park is wonderful, at the base of Rocky Mountain National Park and convienent for day tripping to Grand Lake, Boulder, etc. Easy to fly in to Denver. Make sure to book one of the cabin-motels, not a chain like Holiday Inn.

We LOVE it!

I want to go to Tahiti and do a traditional vow renewel on the beach! Feetsies warm in the sand, flowers in my hair, Polynesian Chief reciting vows..........

Not sure what time of year you are celebrating, but my husband and I went to Vail, Colorado for our 30th anniversary (summer trip). We stayed at a hotel called the Sonnenalp (check out sonnenalp.com, if interested). It was FABULOUS!!! We loved Colorado - it is so beautiful.

we went to hawaii-turned out it was just before DH's 1st trip to Iraq so I was very glad we did. Currently planning a long cruise for 25th-and it looks like that may be just after the 2nd tour.

Our 15 is in two years and I want to do Hawaii. I just love beaches.

On our 20th (4 years ago), we ended our family vacation in Vegas and renewed our vows with Elvis serenading us. My son was the "best" man, and my 3 daughters "gave" me away to their father. This was at the tail-end of trip thru several national parks in Arizona and Utah.

How bout Jamaica Mon! We went there for our Honeymoon it was beautiful! Might I suggest Sandals? Everything is included! I mean Everything!! You want 3 dinners? Go ahead you can eat as much as you want! Our first night there I ordered a glass of white and DH ordered a glass of red. They brought us a bottle of each!!!! Ya Mon! "Everything Irie"
