We love the food everywhere, so we're not sure where to go.:scratchin: Our plane arrives in the afternoon, so we don't want to wander into a park for this; and we'll be a bit tired from travel, so we don't want anything that will be too tiring.:crazy2: Help us decide!!:yay:

Congratulations on 20 years! We have been making Thanksgiving trips every year now since 2005, and we celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2005 on the day before Thanksgiving with dinner at the California Grill at the Contemporary, After dinner you can watch Wishes from the roof of the restaraunt (don't know exactly what they call this area, it's not really the "roof", but you know what I mean). They pipe the music into this area for viewing. You could also get a table inside that would allow you to watch the fireworks from inside.

We make a Thanksgiving trip every year, and we always schedule our anniversary dinner for the California Grill. Great food, atmosphere (view!), service, and desserts. Make sure wherever you go that you tell them it's your anniversary. Our dessert arrived with beautiful Happy Anniversary wishes written in gold foil on it!

If you have time to kill between dinner and the fireworks, you can just ride the monorail around and come back to the Contemporary. It's fun at night! They let you back into the restaraunt for fireworks as long as you have your dinner receipt.....

Note #1: We also have a tradition of having Thanksgiving dinner at the Brown Derby at MGM. Great atmosphere and food. After dinner, we walk through the Osborne lights with the fake snow. The dancing lights last year were terrific!

Note #2: We also do this with 3 kids in tow. The teens love good food and there's a great kids menu for the 6 year old. A bit pricey, but we don't tend to overdo the food most of the time.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Artist Point a couple months ago, and everything about it was excellent. A beautiful window table, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, great server. DS and DDIL celebrated their first anniversary at CG, and although they got a free dessert, they thought it was too loud and bustling, not very romantic.

Hi Wheelcap! Where are you guys staying? Maybe if you are staying at one of the delux resorts you can do dinner at one the nice restaraunts on site. Or you could drive to one of these resorts and not have to worry about walking so far into the parks on your first evening there!

Big Congrats on your 20th! We are celebrating 10 years this year at WDW...and we'll be back for 20 too! haha

Jiko! It's fantastic food, great wine list, and a pretty quiet and romantic setting. Mention it's your anniversary and ask for a quiet table.

My wife and I were VERY impressed with California Grill. The food was excellent and we got in early enough to see Wishes while we ate. :)

Hi! Well first...CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Ok now for the fun part! If you want someplace great to celebrate that wonderful anniversary..I personally reccommend...Cinderella's Royal Table...Inside the Castle at the magic Kingdom park! That is the best place to celebrate such a very very special event =)!!! They make it as magical as possible...and then they add even more Magic to your evening! I don't want to give away all the secrets..but how i know is, becuase I have read about it and I have eaten there before! Service is wonderful!!! I guarentee you won't be dissapointed!

It will truly be the best night of your life! Oh and the best part, is also you can either watch the fireworks from inside the castle while eating dinner, or you may go outside and watch Wishes, the magical nighttime fireworks show, over the Magic Kingdom Park. Well I hope this as helped! this is truly the best one! Have A Magical Night! If there is anything else I can do for ya, please let me know!!

We spent our 20th anniversary at Coral Reef last year. I had arranged for the diver to appear with a banner with Happy Anniversary to my DH. It was so neat and after swimming with the fishies, she came out and gave us the banner. The restaurant gave us personalized menus as well. It was a very nice anniversary meal, we both enjoyed the food.

My vote goes to the Yachtsman Steakhouse. It has such a wonderful atmosphere and the food is great. It is the restaurant of choice for us on every trip.

I imagine that any of the Signature restaurants would be nice.
I'd go V&A first, but if that is too $$$, then Jiko or Citricos would be my choices.

Big vote for V&A's for a very special occasion but if you don't think you're up much that night, I'd vote for Yachtmans Steakhouse too.

Congratulations on your anniversary. DH and I always celebrate our anniversary at California Grill. In fact, we'll be celebrating our 18th in October with a window seat of the fireworks at MK.
