Yay! Hopefully the bounce backs for 2027 open soon too, we'll be there in two days and I'd love book our bounce backs right when they open to hopefully get a better selection.

Looking at prices for 2027 and noticing that for most of July there is no availability at the club level rooms at the Wilderness lodge outside of the deluxe room. Wonder if they'll be refurbing those rooms next summer. ETA - starting July 30th those rooms are available again.

Not sure of your dates, but I just did two quick searches and saw availability for both…

I got partial dates but I was unable to find any reservations for GDT from Jan 13-Jan 15. Kinda bummed because now I have 2 dates in the middle on our trip with nothing. Always a monkey wrench!

I was just scraping all the new rates into my spreadsheet for my Port Orleans research, and I noticed that for existing dates from now until the end of 2026, every night in every booking category has gone up by about $10-$15 (inc tax) compared to the figures from when the 2026 rack rates were first released last year. I don't think I've seen Disney do that before, usually once a rack rate has been announced any subsequent changes tend to be done via discounts, deals and offers.

I don't know exactly when this hike happened, but when I scraped the finally-released December 2026 rates back in October last year, none of the other 2026 prices had changed at all. Have I just not noticed them doing this before?

For the last few years Disney has snuck in a mid-year hike or two along the way. It’s quiet and subtle, at first it would get picked up around here, often deeper in threads, but not so much lately. It’s somewhat surprising to me how little it gets noticed/tracked/discussed. It has sometimes coincided with a discount release so gets buried. It takes someone really tracking rack rates closely (which most don’t do) or pricing out a pre/post trip and then posting about it.

I do keep a fairly close eye (!) on the rack rates for my website updates, but after rechecking POR/POFQ back in October, and finding again that the Jan-Nov 2026 rates were 100% idenitcial to their initially released prices, I just assumed they would stay that way. I guess I'll have to do spot checks every so often.

And it makes it even more imprtant to get those bookings in early; someone staying for two weeks in 2026 could find themselves paying $150 or so more for their vacation simply by booking today compared to booking the same vacation a few months ago (future discounts and offers notwithstanding).

Out of purely academic (OK, verging into geeky) interest, here's what the end of 2026 looked like previously, and what it looks like today, along with annual stats for 2026.
