Okay. It worked for me when we went from asking if we could to just saying what were we’re calling to do.

I suspect you've already thought of this, but any way you can transfer the resale points you want to use into a qualified Membership and then buy into that? (This would mean you'd need to have not used your transfer on either Membership yet, and that you haven't bought OTUP on the qualified membership.)
