2026 MMB info Announced

Im thinking of paying for the MMB and getting the MMB Tickets 3day DL park tickets for 2 adults and 1 child for 2026.
Has anyone done the general math to see if its worth it?
It was worth it for us last year as since the tickets were sold through DVC I was able to obtain a bigger discount by paying with discounted Disney Gift cards.

As @cruisehopeful mentioned certainly shop the other sites as they might be a better deal and they are not restricted to weekday tickets only.

I was thinking about the gc too. I guess that’s about another $50 savings at 5%.

So, WWYD? Rent out 75 points for $18-20pp or use your 75 points for a sorcerer pass at $15.6/point? It also evens out after accounting for taxes! I guess that's why they are offering this "benefit"?!

Absolutely no hassle I would exchange through DVC for the AP esp if you factor in that you can buy the BOGO OTUP to use for it as well.

Exchange! It’s a once and done…with renting you have to wait until the rental is over to get paid in full.

I’d the renter cancels, then you need to rent again based on the terms of your agreement with the rental company.

I only did one but I still value my time as most important!!

Here is a little info about the Aulani 8x10" photo. You go to Hoku Hideaway (DVC sales area) and they scan your digital membership to make sure you have MMB. You can do this at any time in your trip; even before you've taken any photos. Then they give you a coupon that you'll take to Photo Services. When you visit, they'll take your coupon, let you select a picture, and then print it out for you. So far this trip, I just got my photo coupon, but haven't visited photo services.

The CM in Hoku Hideaway told me that photos during the Luau or character dining breakfast aren't allowed for this perk.
The last day of my Aulani trip, I went to PhotoPass Services. I handed them the coupon that I got at Hoku Hideaway and my photo cards, and they brought up all my pictures and let me select one for the 8x10" print. After picking the photo, they present you with an option for a digital border. They have several selections, and we went with one that had Mickey in the bottom left, Minnie in the bottom right, sandy/beachy along the bottom, and Aulani logo and name in the bottom middle. They put it in a nice little folder to help protect it for our trip back.

Nobody else was in line when I was there, and it took maybe 5 minutes total including my time deciding on a photo.

I forgot to ask the PhotoPass CM to double check if the Hoku Hideaway CM was correct about no luau or character breakfast pictures. The luaus during our stay were canceled due to inclement weather, and we didn't do character dining breakfast this trip.

I posted above that the T and Cs specially state those are excluded.

Thank you so much for the report back! I am excited! Im not annoyed by the exclusions since our Makahiki photos are always not the best anyway.

We have reports now that when the second owner called and just asked to buy them in the other membership, even if it didn’t hold any eligible contracts, they were allowed to buy.

Mention resale, or asking questions, of even having the second owner on the call has caused CMs to just deny.

Basically, less is more when calling!
I have been trying to buy the bogo points today. I've tried calling twice and both times Ive been turned down to get the points in my resale only membership.

the CM's claim they are not allowed to put the points in a resale membership and its agains the rules.

There are two possibilities:
  1. It is not allowed and those CMs are correct, but not all CMs are aware of the limitation and sell them improperly.
  2. It is allowed, and those CMs are incorrect, but others are better trained.
I genuinely do not know which is true. But either way, the strategy is clear: Call back periodically until you get one of the "other" CMs.

We have 3 use years, only 1 with direct points. I called Friday and bought the MMB bogo points with one of the resale only use years and had no problem purchasing. Within 30 minutes the reservation showed up on my DVC dashboard and the points were paid for at the bogo price.

I don't understand the constant CM confusion/problems with this and why they make it so hard for some of us. I'd try calling back later or tomorrow, if you can wait, and hope you get someone who knows what they're doing!

The DVC system is not simple. There are several different "tiers" of resale points with various entitlements, some things limited by Membership, other things limited by Contract, and now two different tiers of perks available. The phone reps are probably not paid a high hourly wage, and those with better options probably don't stay all that long.

Frankly, I'm impressed that the DVC phone folks are as good as they are. It is much better than the general Disney information line.

I've now tried 3 times. I actually thought that 3rd time was a charm. I got the first 12 points in my account, I paid and then I waited. Finally the CM came back and said it was not possible due to the membership was a resale membership only. I ended up with a refund and the first 12 points gone from my account.

BTW, does anyone know if its in the T&C that the membership has to be eligible for MMB or direct perks to receive the bogo points?

Any pointers to what you did or maybe you just got lucky? You didn't experience any sort of hiccups before you had your points?

After 3 tries today, I'm done for today..... Or maybe I try one last time, its not as if I got other and better things to do🫣

When you call do ask if you can or just say what you are calling to do?
