2026 Hotel Bookings Through October 2026 Open 4/22/2025, Resort “Perks” for 2026 Announced, Etc

Saw this noted on another thread and I'm not sure when they did this, but it looks like you can no longer get to the rate calendar where you could flip through the rack rates each month. Instead it only shows the rates for your selected dates. Not sure if intentional or just a website glitch, but I don't love that change.

Clarifying from a report from @kdka421 on another thread that they saw the same a few weeks ago - so not a today change, but something implemented sometime recently. FWIW

Still looking at random hotels & dates….moderate resorts seem to only have standard, preferred & king bed categories listed. Garden, pool river views etc show “change search”. Did I miss an announcement??

Anyone have an idea how soon Mousesavers will update the 2026 rates pages?

Trying to stay within Value Season

Edited: booked my stay using last year's chart. Fingers crossed they're in the Value season.

Guess I can always cancel and rebook if I have to.

Yes, Disney announced they will no longer have "views" as options to select when making a reservation.

Thanks! Do you know when that announcement happened? Totally missed it
I can't recall seeing an official announcement from Disney, but has been talked about as a rumor on here for about 6 months or so. Not saying they definitely didn't announce it, I just don't remember seeing it.

I'm trying to get a campsite and can't get past the 'Campsite Equipment' box on checkout page. Tried three browsers and my phone :(
I just saw this posted. Not sure if this affects you…

Thank you though but no, the issue is with the new form 2026 for campsites, the campsite equipment box where you put in the motor home , length etc. it doesn’t let you edit it but it also is required and you can’t get past it. You have to call and make the reservation over the phone until they fix it.

I am reading people had luck booking using the 2025 form , populating the equipment field , completing the reservation and then changing the dates

Well, it was in place and discussed on the boards last year for 2025 bookings..

I booked a room for January. When do you think a room discount will come out for that month? I know the current one goes until December.

I’m getting the same limited availability for several different date combinations. It’s like they released only certain rooms for different combinations of dates. I checked YC first, saw only 1 room category available for the week I was checking & assumed a big convention had rooms booked. But I’ve checked a few other resorts & dates & getting the same thing. Annoying.
Me too. Very, very annoying!!

Am I missing something? All 2 bedrooms and suites at Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Towers and Polynesian booked for early May 2026 in just 1 day? Do you think more rooms will be released later or is it really fully booked without any hope for getting a reservation over a year in advance?

Maybe a glitch? Suites, especially the 2 bedrooms, do tend to book up super fast though. We've missed out a few times which is why I wanted to book our 2-bedroom suite right when the 2026 dates dropped. Not sure if they are normally fully booked in only a day though!

I'm not sure how the cash inventory for DVC properties works. So it might be possible that they booked up within the first day....or they're partially gone for the days you're looking at.

I think they booked up quickly. I was looking at a week in February and it had the 2 bedroom theme park view at Bay Lake Tower but I found it much cheaper one in January so I booked that instead. I just looked and that room is no longer available in February so someone booked it up

Keep trying, a lot of people will put multiple rooms on 3-day hold while they think over their options.

When it comes to hotel-side suites, I'm not convinced Disney loads them all at one time. I think many are held back for various reasons - conventions, other uses, etc. I could be wrong, but that's just my impression watching this play out year after year as some of the immediate lack of availability never makes much sense.

As for DVC/villa accommodations, for a sold out points resort like BLT you won't see cash availability prior to 11 months out - so you're early for May.

For a still for sale DVC resort like Poly where DVD still owns a lot of points, DVD can anticipate sales, points usage, etc and make them available cash greater than 11 months - or something along those lines I'm sure the DVC peep can better articulate. That's likely influencing what you're seeing for Poly Tower 2BR availability for your dates.

I was looking at several resorts yesterday for several different time periods, just 3 hours after the bookings opened. Many resorts showed only 1 room type available to book. I also saw resorts that had only 1 club level room type & no suites. Knowing Disney IT, I believe not all room types were released at that point. I haven’t looked again, so not sure it has changed. No I don’t believe every suite was booked within 3 hours of release.
