2026 DVC Member Cruise

Completed! I wonder if fewer people are calling in for this one because the price is so high. But I'm psyched to have got through right away and got our first choice of connecting 8A's! The DVC web site is showing that 11C's are sold out, as well as 1A and 2A.

For people on hold, it takes about 25-35 mins to book, so a lot of people should come off hold right about now.

Called in at 10:00:00am. Still on hold at 10:30. Patient pants on!
Yeah, if you don't get through in the first cycle, it's going to be about half an hour before the first group gets booked. But on hold is a good thing. There have been booking mornings where I got a busy signal for two hours!

34 min on hold before they picked up. Got my category 8A "split suite" cabin on deck 5. Love the extra space of those rooms. $95 booking fee waived due to MMB enrollment...although that didn't quite take the sting out of paying 100% up front for a cruise over a year away...

The $95 is waived for everyone on member cruises

But if you use the Disney Chase Visa, at least you get six months interest-free to pay.

How come it takes 30 min to book once someone picks up? Seems like a long time, just searching for the right stateroom?

I don't know. A lot of that time was spent on hold while they checked inventory, entered Cataway Club numbers, waited for the payment system...

Really? She specifically mentioned it. Or maybe it was waived for any future changes….i really couldn’t hear her..it sounded like she was in a war room.
That would be nice! What's MMB?

Oh, maybe future changes, those do get charged $95 to modify. But otherwise, $95 is waved for everyone on first booking

Yes, I have done this on a member cruise before. It’s better to book the max number of people first, because even if there’s room in your cabin, there’s a chance that your muster station is full and they won’t let you add later. If you have to cancel a person/people later, it’s $95 for the change, as a cancel/rebook.

If one had MMB, that $95 fee should be waived now!

Oooh, I didn't think I'd bother with MMB, but I definitely will if I have to change my reservation! I mean, if I have to pay a hundred bucks either way, I might as well get the benefits!

Our call was 28 minutes - got our 1st choice 6B room. That was even with the CM trying to figure out why DH and I both have 2 CC numbers one of which doesn't "work" and the other that does. He didn't figure it out but was able to put in the one that worked for each of us. This was BY FAR the easiest and fastest DVC MC booking we have ever done!

We should be just about starting the third cycle of getting people off hold. Is anybody still just getting busy signals?

We also had a hard time hearing our CM - really quiet and breaking up some!

Not my lucky day, still getting hung up on. At least the category I want isn't one of few or the cheapest.

No busy signal, just a message that all our agents are too buy, please call back, then the call cuts off.
