2024 DVC Point Chart Release Date?

When do we expect the 2024 charts will be released? December '22? Trying to plan ahead

Points charts have been released as early as November and as late as January but usually come out in December. The latest date they could be released would be January 25, so that members wanting to book their home resorts for 7 nights, checking in on December 26 and checking out on January 2, can know how many points the night of January 1 will cost.

As noted , the release dates have varied in the past. The 2023 charts were released on 12/2/2021. It is possible the 2024 charts could be unchanged from 2023 (except for normal annual point changes that would occur from the date changes of Easter and Thanksgiving). A main issue now is whether DVCM (the entity that is responsible for creating home resort point charts) is done shifting points to the fall season from other seasons at WDW, which change has occurred annually for a few years now.

It varies. As drusba states above, the 2023 charts were released before the 2021 meeting. The 2020 points charts were released after the annual meeting in December 2018 - those were the charts with the HUGE changes and the attempt to increase the lockoff premium, and they were eventually rescinded and replaced with charts that just had the normal adjustments for Thanksgiving, Easter week, etc.

My belief is that the later release was intentional, because the then-VP (whom I shall not name) didn't want to address the changes and hoped they'd fly under the radar. We have to thank many people who are and were active on these boards for analyzing those points charts and spending time on the phone with DVC executives, explaining why the changes were illegal.

Just glanced at them but WDW is still 7 seasons.

My charts look the same as 2023, at least for the travel periods I use.

When I heard the points charts were out, I was pretty sure that meant there wouldn’t be any major changes. If there had been major changes, I think they’d have held them until after the December 8 meeting.

Hopefully this means they’re finished for now in shifting costs from summer to fall. We hope to have another family trip coming up in 2025, so I’ve started budgeting points for the next few years and hope this means 2025 charts will be unchanged, too.

Sorry I’m not exactly sure what you are asking here. Each resort has its own point chart broken down by seasons. The WDW ones have 7 and the other resorts have 4 or 5. If you are looking for a calendar type thing to see how many points a reservation would be if it were to overlap seasons for example you could try the calculator at David’s DVC rental

I printed them somewhere for last year but it had every resort for each season on one page. So there was a page for each season with how much each resort/accommodation cost for that season with the dates.

In other words, it merges all the point charts then sorts by season so you can see what each resort costs side by side during, say, the second week of April, for example?

I have never seen that sorry. The David's calculator will show all resorts when you enter dates that you want to go but obviously you have to change the dates each time.

That just looks like someone typed it up in Excel. Not sure where it came from but it would not be hard to recreate that
