We need to reschedule our vacation that was supposed to start in 27 days due to a neck injury. Should be fine by early next year according to the doctors so we want to rebook. Looking at dates between February 1 and April 30. Deluxe hotel rates are outrageous, but hopefully a Savvy Traveler or APH rate will come along that we could take advantage of. As we usually go in early December, we are not as familiar with springtime crowds. If you were planning an 8 day vacation during this time of year, when would you go to have the lowest crowd levels. TIA!

In our experience last year, February was less crowded than April. Also, Mardi Gras in the park is truly a fun time and that runs from February 4-April 16. I personally would not want to miss that experience. Just be sure that if you do have a UOAP with blockout dates, that your dates/concert nights won’t be blocked out.

Either the beginning or end of your date options will be least crowded.

Feb will be cooler. Also more potential for rides to be closed for seasonal maintenance & shorter park hours.

Tough call. I would personally probably opt for early Feb because my experience the last week of April 2021 was very hot. Low crowds though which was lovely.
