2022 Reservation Question and Which Week?

I was wondering when can you call and get a quote for resorts for 2022.
We are thinking the 1st week in May or the week before Thanksgiving, any suggestions to which week would be better? Thanks.

Disney is currently only taking reservations through September 26th of 2021....you will have a quite a while to wait, especially for late 2022.

May will be hotter but not terrible like August or September (which are hot, humid, and rainy, as well). I would choose either one

2022 packages won't be available till next summer (2-3 week in June, historically). I'm not even sure you can book a room only reservation for 2022 yet...Hopefully someone else knows.

That being said, both times have their advantages.

In the past you could call for a room-only reservation 499 days out. So at best that would mean mid-December 2020 for May 2022 or next July for the Thanksgiving dates. However, as noted above, WDW isn't accepting any reservations later than September 2021 at this point. Just keep watching, I'm sure it'll be posted here when reservations open up again.

I personally recommend going in November, but that's because I cannot handle the humid heat of Florida (this is coming from a California girl who is currently managing just fine in 102 degree dry heat). As others have said, you'll have to be patient for 2022. I'm still waiting for December 2021, which would normally be out by now. In the meantime, you can still price your vacation and look at all the awesome options for activities on your visit. That's kept me going for the last 6 months.
