Has anyone booked this yet? Can you use points and cash? Do you think it will get canceled again? I want to book my kids first cruise. How different is the member cruise?

I think the cruise is sold out, actually, but you would have to call and check. Lot of people applied forward after the cancels of the prior DVC Alaska.

You have to have at least one passenger book on points, I believe. Others can be cash. Qualified contracts only.

Big differences will be fewer kids, and a bunch of lectures and guest speakers. Various gifts to members of relatively high volume and low cash value.

You have always been able to book DVC member cruises for all cash. The Wish DVC cruise is not a “Member Cruise.” I don’t think that has changed.

They may have a wait list if it is sold out.

You can use all cash, all points, or a combination, but if you are paying with partial points it has to be in the exact amount of a person’s whole fare. You can’t just say you want to spend 100 points and the rest cash—but you could pay one or two guests’s fares in points and the other guests in cash.

I don’t think it will be cancelled. I do think it will be 100% vaccinated (assuming, which I think is very likely, that vaccines are available to kids under 12 by then).
