2022 Candlelight Processional dining package

I can only see dates to Dec 8. I'm looking to book for my BWV reservation Dec 12-16 but it's not in the booking calendar.

(In addition to seeing them on the app) I also got showtime options when I was on the CP Dining page and clicked on "Check Availability". Just searching the dining reservation page, showtime options didn't pop up.

You can only book 60 days in advance (or 60 days + 10 from the start of your resort visit if you are staying at Disney). So seems like in 4 days you could book for any day of your visit (BWV being on resort).

I got my reservation! I did have to add another person to my party. I found using the app on my phone easier to use than the computer. It shows all available restaurants and show times.:dancer:

Nice! Just a word of caution out of experience - for a fixed-price event, the restaurant may not always forgive the extra person not showing up for dinner. We tried this for Rose & Crown fireworks package... booked 3 when we needed 2... tried calling in advance to edit it, and they wouldn't... tried our luck with only 2 of us showing up... they were apologetic, but we had to pay for that 3rd space. I know some places may forgive it or maybe restaurant reservations not tied to an event, but not always. If I do this in the future, I will make sure it is modified before we arrive or I will cancel it.

I had not heard this before. Thanks for the heads up!

I was able to get my dining reservation for Rose and Crown, but it shows the Candelight time for 8:30pm. Anyway to get an earlier time, like the 7:30time? I tried playing around with all the R&C times (all were dinner) and even the 4::00pm dinner rez had the late 8:30pm Candlelight time.
Thoughts?

Booked Rose and Crown for 11/25. This will be my first Candlelight Processional. Question - what's a better showtime? 7 or 8:30? Decisions, decisions.
You don’t choose your show time… it is stated on your reservation. If there is no time given, then you probably don’t have a CP reservation but just a regular reservation.

Check your reservation. It tells you which show.

I can't get it to work - says can't check, and this is also our ADR date. Oh well...
This happens to me sometimes. I go into Incognito Mode (look up at the top of your screen, click on the 3 little dots, click "open new Icognito Window"... then go to the Disneyworld website, login as normal.

I got on at 5:55am in anticipation for 6:00, but booking was already open. For a party of 2, there was just about nothing left. Switched to a party of 3 and a lot more was available. We got pretty much close to the time, place, and date we wanted. Not perfect, but I'll take it!

Is it the full dinner price or the $10.00 fee?
For that event package, it was the full event price. We tried to call in advance to cancel the third - no luck. Tried our luck with showing up with only 2 of us... not so lucky.

Hearing the reports of not being able to book for a party of 2 is making me nervous. Our reservation day isn't for a few weeks yet. I wonder if we book for 3 people, could we use 'chat' to reduce to 2 (if we can't do it online)?

I wonder if you can’t modify if maybe putting the “extra people” on the reservation as infants would work? Technically then you weren’t going to be charged for them anyway.

I don't think Chat function can do that for you. Once you have the reservation you can try to modify it through My Plans or by calling Disney. When we tried to modify a Rose & Crown fireworks passage last year in advance (from 3 people to 2 people), we weren't able to because when I called there weren't any 2-person reservations open. Tried our luck and just showed up - cost us the full amount of the extra event package; they apologized but said they could not credit/remove the extra reservation at that time. With regular dining or maybe with a different CM for an event, it might work out. For us, I definitely won't try my luck for a fixed-price event again... if I can't get it modified in advance, we will cancel or otherwise adjust.

That said, I hopped on this morning (5:33 a.m. to be exact, LOL) and was able to get 2 people reservation without issue - I couldn't get my first choice of Garden Grill (except at a time we couldn't make it), but could have had any of the other 4.

Good luck!
