Torn as to which to choose? We’d go late August, so low crowds and much less expensive, but oppressive heat and humidity, right? Or leave Christmas Day and return 1/2, so better weather but oppressive crowds and cost (and I’m not one to balk at vacation budgets, but wow). Looking at YC, and difference is $400/night. Airfare also huge difference.

Really torn here and would love to hear from folks with experiences with one or both. Thanks in advance!

This was our decision too. We originally were planning a December trip but the cost was crazy expensive for where we stay. I got a 2 bedroom villa at BLT for the price of a one bedroom in December. I am worried about the heat but I’m hoping for hopefully somewhat smaller crowds. I do want to visit at Christmas though! Someday!

I love Disney at New Years (have been 2x) but I’d want to make sure they were offering the whole celebration. If not, August would be my choice
