2021 Senior Class Trip cancelled

You would think they’d open one up to accommodate the groups and make some money. But the kids aren’t going to socially distance and Disney probably doesn’t want to open up that media nightmare.

Yes, but they probably won’t open a resort & call all those CMs back just for a few weeks of school trips. When the trips are done, what, they close the resort & lay the CMs off again?

I know in my area of NJ just about every school goes to Disney. In shifts. From March to June. I’m sure they could’ve shifted resort openings if they truly wanted to. Or opened the one all star earlier.

Here is the Spring Schedule for WDW Cheer/Dance Events.

The Quest Recreational Championship will be April 16-17 hosted by Pop Century.

UCA Open All Star Championship will be April 17-18 hosted by Pop Century.

The College Cheerleading and Dance Championship normally held in January will now be held April 27-28.

Traditionally it is held at All-Star Sports,but this year Pop Century will be hosting.

National Dance Team Championship will be April 22-23 with Pop Century "partially" hosting along with All-Star Movies and Coronado Springs.

Also for the below events,It doesn't look like the names of their Host Resorts are available yet.

• The Summit: April 30-May 2, 2021
• The Dance Summit: May 2-3, 2021
• The Dance Worlds May 6-7, 2021
• The Cheerleading Worlds: May 8-10, 2021
• The D2 Summit: May 13-15, 2021

It now looks like Pop Century has been dropped as a Host Resort for all Cheer/Dance Competitions other than The Summit and The D2 Summit which are still showing Pop Century/All-Star Movies/Coronado Springs.

All others are now showing either All-Star Movies or All-Star Movies/Coronado Springs.

The school is telling us that waiver is from Disney. I call nuggets.

If you do a search for “disney waivers for minors” the phrase you used in your original post shows up as part of WDW’s sports waivers. So, it is something in WDW’s forms.
