2021 Halloween Time Superthread *September 3-October 31* *Oogie Boogie Bash Returns on Select Nights*

Hi! New here I was wondering Does anyone have a screenshot of the confirmation email? (Minus your info ofcourse) my wife and I can’t seem to find it in ours and we’re thinking it’s in my sister-in-law’s email and we want to show her what to look for. Thank you to anyone that can help :)
Look for an email from Disneyland Reservations. The title is "Oogie Boogie Bash -- a Disney Halloween Party Confirmation #__________".

Here you go, the top portion anyway so you can see subject and sender. There is a confirmation number after the word Confirmation in the subject line.

Have your SIL look for an email from both senders. Disney sent the confirmation emails from more than one address. The title/subject line should be the same no matter which address was used.

Has anyone heard if they're still unofficially providing some same-day tickets for guests staying on property? Have some friends who are going and staying at GCH, and trying to find out

Just a heads up for those going to the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party. I indicated on our reservations that we are gluten free, and they called me a couple of days before to confirm. When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised with this more-than-adequate plate! I emailed to get the exact descriptions and they said it was
  • Chocolate Meringue Mousse with Oogie Boogie Medal
  • · Gummy Centipedes
  • · Chocolate Caramel Tarlet
  • · Lemon Tartlet
  • · Fruit
You can see that we did not, in fact, get the gummy worms. Fine by me! It was all delicious, and too much-- we didn't finish. I was really surprised the tarts were gluten free. I'd have liked to see an ingredient list. But none of us had bad effects.

For those who recently went to OBB, roughly what percentage of attendees go in costume? My family is having an absurdly hard time coming up with costume ideas that will travel well on the plane, aren’t overly hot and don’t involve masks (at least those that are against the event rules). Anyone see something particularly creative?

There were a lot of costumes, they were fun to see. There were a lot of Loki variants. I saw an old school Wanda and Vision. There was a fat Thor that was hilarious and he got his picture taken with Thor. A few Tianas. I saw a Jafar and a group dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland.

But we didn't do much and didn't feel out of place at all. I wore a Captain America shirt. Just a shirt with the logo on it. Malificent talked trash to me asking me if I thought I was the star and saying she is the only star. My girlfriend wore a smiling jack-o-lantern shirt. My son just wore a Yoda as a Frankenstein shirt that said Creep it Real. And my daughter wore regular black clothes with Minnie ears and eventually upgraded to Malificent horns.

We do more of a theme t shirt kinda thing. One year we were all claw machines aliens from toy story. This year we are s’mores. (Dh and I have shirts with graham crackers, ds is a chocolate bar and dad is a marshmallow). We also thought about being wilderness explorers, retro candy, and a few other fun shirts we found on Amazon. Easy to pack and still in the spirit of things.

anyone know how late webslingers is staying open during the party? I think I read they aren’t really letting you get in line at 10:59 and still be able to ride rides, so what time should we aim for if we want to do it near last?

When I went WS was down almost all night so I’m not sure about that. But we rode Soarin last on the way out and got in line a few minutes before closing. We didn’t have an issue, but I don’t know if that is typical.

We're also a t-shirt theme kinda family. My husband and I are going to be Ghost Hosts and my son is going as Justin Scarred. My son's friend will be Where's Waldo.

My favorite costumes I saw were 3 girls dressed as Huey, Dewey, and Louie from the Trick or Treat short. I didn't snap a pic but had to stop them and tell them what a great idea it was.
