I am getting ready to set my goals for the coming year! I am actually excitied by it as I seem to be able to focus more each year on what is important to us (retirement planning, vacations, and getting things organized) and the easiest way to accomplish it. I like using the SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely) method for goal planning. It allows me to ask the who, what, where, when, why, and how to what we want to do. Although saving money for various projects, trips, and such seems to be the most important now we will have others to accomplish as well. I have divided my goals into catagories and then further divided them into specific actionable items (It is how I can make it work in my mind).
I hope a bunch of people want to join in and keep it updated regularly for encouragement (wether it is weekly, monthly, or quarterly). I like weekly myself for the accountability aspect but each person is different and do what works best for you.
Again I have posted lots of goals to accomplish but based on the past couple of years I like to have a bigger and specific list to work on to keep me much more focused on the bigger picture of accomplishments.
Now for the list of 2021 goals with some explantions/reasonings:
